Chest is rubbish!
Hi all. I am on 40mg of Pred, Theo, Simbicort 400mg, Montelukast, Nebbed Atrovent and Salbutamol, I have recently had 3 admissions to ITU. The middle one I was Intubated and out for 4 days. I caught Pneumonia then. Then I was sent home from the resp ward and was back on ITU after only 5 days at home.

Oops
I'm currently dealing with 'salbutamol shakes' and slightly dodgy breathing. I've been to my running club tonight but possibly shouldn't have done :-( Maybe i wasn't fully recovered from Sunday's 10k reindeer run even though i *thought* i was. You can choose to run any distance from 2-5 miles and

Salbutimol making me cough
Hi all and Happy New Year. I suffer from brittle/serve asthma and have always used salbutamol as my rescue medication. After my worst and most recent attack I have found it sets me of coughing. This is a problem as it does nothing to help my asthma, and often makes my chest tighter. I have salbutamol

Feel a bit of a fraud!!
Last year I was given a salbutamol inhaler and a peak flow meter along with instructions to check PF morning and night and to try salbutamol before exercise and compare to exercise without to see if my symptoms were exercise induced asthma. The results led to confirmation of EIA. I continued to monitor

I was wondering if anyone has experience of how altitude (up to about 3000m) might affect me? I've already spoken to my GP about

Coping with tiredness
I'm looking for practical advice if anyone can help me please. I'm relatively new to asthma, only diagnosed Dec 2009, and although I've only had two proper attacks (touch wood!) I have frequent bouts of breathlessness and difficulty breathing and I have to use my salbutamol. But what I find debilitating
