Dyskinesia
I’ve been on
Rytary
23.75 for three years. Neupro patch 8mg. I have just begin to have dyskinesia. I was thinking I would decrease
Rytary
and see if helped. Anyone have suggestions for me?

Stopping meds
I stopped
Rytary
9 days ago. I've had two mild bouts of dizziness. And as can be seen on this shopping list my hand writing has gone from bad to worse. I wondered if there might be withdrawal signs. I don't feel any. Obvious question is why stop necessary meds.

Falling
I take
Rytary
48mg three times daily. It doesn't seem to affect the lumbar muscle weakness. Could PD be the reason for these 'near-falls'? Or maybe it's because I'll turn 65 next week? TIA, kpo

I took my
Rytary
med at 12 noon and I’m “On” usually 3 1/2 hours. I’m 2 hours overdue. I’ve watched Ian Frizell on U tube, get high, which stopped his tremor. Even though I’d love to skip my meds, problem is, it’s a mild high but not really suitable for me at work.

ARE YOU A NON TREMOR DOMINANT PD PATIENT WITH DYSKINESIA? IF SO, PLEASE HELP.
I take
Rytary
3pills 145mg, (8am,12noon,4pm and 8pm). My MDS thinks it is motor fluctuations, caused by uneven plasma level of Levodopa.

I am not convinced that I have PD. Could anyone tell me if they have had any of these experiences?
has anyone on a regular basis gone to bed and taken
Rytary
and not have to take it again for 12 hrs later. This is even after you have been awake for 2 to 3 hours? with no tremors? Do you take
Rytary
or Sinemet for the symptoms of being stiff but your tremors re fine?

orthostatic hypotension
He is taking
Rytary
48/195 3 times a day. His doctors are reluctant to increase his
Rytary
as they fear it will further drop his already low blood pressure. His standing blood pressure is often 68/43 and 70/43.He does have heart disease and recently had a pacemaker inserted.

ET VS PD
I was on Sinemet for two years and now I'm on
Rytary
. I had the DST scan 3 months ago. It shows an imbalance between the left and right sides of the substantia nigra, weaker on the RIGHT side. If this is PD and I've had it for 4 years, shouldn't some other signs have kicked in by now?

Increasing salt intake and meds
With the increase of sodium intake(via the salt) and fluid intake improving things, what is the best way to increase his
Rytary
? A larger dosage at the prescribed 3 times a day or a smaller dose more frequently than 3 times a day? Any comments are appreciated.

Mannitol and B1: What’s going on?
Over the next months, this gradually allowed him to reduce his dopamine meds, first eliminating the Neupro patch, then gradually eliminating
Rytary
. He has cognitive impairment and too much of those 2 meds would cause hallucinations. But dialing the dose in let him move pretty well.

White coat syndrome?
So now I've added rosuvastatin, metopropol and 81mg aspirin to the daily PD treatment:
Rytary
.
But at home I can't get my systolic over 110. The DAT scan proves I have PD.
But could white coat syndrome affect the DAT scan as it affects my BP?

Curious about anyone having any feedback on
Rytary
? My doctor seems to think that I am not tolerating levodopa/carbidopa very well and we are thinking about switching. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

switching meds
I know this has probably been asked a thousand times but could anyone give me some advice on how to switch from
rytary
61/245mg 2 caps a day and the neupro patch 4mg a day Mucuna? I really want to switch to all natural!

Diagnosis and Acupuncture
I started taking
Rytary
and did not find that it helped my tremor, but other physical symptoms had mostly resolved before I started the meds. I took the
Rytary
for close to a year. I tolerated it well, but was unsure if it was actually doing anything.
