Has anyone else's child's
rhinitis
gotten really bad? My poor boy can't breathe. Thing through his nose, he can't stop sneezing and the Nti histamines aren't making a difference.

Feeling desperate
Last Tuesday I was put on symbicort 200/6 2 puffs 4 times a day and SMART regime as well as nasonex as I might have
rhinitis
. I know it's only a week and these things take time, but I'm hoping for some words of encouragement from others that have been in my shoes.

My Son, 11, new to Asthma
Hi folks, my son has had persistent
rhinitis
for 7years and it appears now to be changing into asthma although the GP says the tests have not been 'diagnostic'. He was on a brown inhaler for four weeks and as soon as we started taking him off, he got worse again.

What to do next? Vit B12 and Vit D levels now fine but FT3 remains stubbornly at bottom of range while FT4 above range.
My symptoms are: - tiredness which varies from very tired to fairly tired which sets in about 5.00pm - eczema on my eyelids (for about 18 months) - intrinsic
rhinitis
which started after a bad viral infection of the throat/ear earlier this year.

Left hand down a bit.
Grinning like mad along most of the route of my run this morning. Following along from the 'naked' running post I was listening to The Navy Lark for an hour (putting shoes on and warm up walk as well as run, did a long run Saturday so only went out for a 'short' one today). Worth listening to, I'd forgotten

Advice on non-allergic rhinitis needed please.
I was originally overactive and had radio-active iodine about 2.5 years ago. Have struggled to get my medication right and suspect it may still not be quite right - on 116 mcg of Eltroxin. Latest test results: TSH 0.09 (0.2 - 4.2) FT4: 26.7 (12 -22) FT3 4.5 (3.95 - 6.8). Generally my FT3 results have

Has anyone else had laryngitis and allergies (hayfever, rhinitis etc) and been recommended thyroxine and been cured?
I have been having repeated attacks of laryngitis on and off for the past 2 years (I've always had a bout of laryngitis, ever since I can remember- maybe once a year/2years). 2 weeks ago, my Dr prescribed for me, a steroid inhaler and 75 mg of levothyroxine. He said that I was asthmatic and borderline

rhinitis
and asthma (target organ: upper and lower airways), conjunctivitis (target organ: the eye), eczema, urticaria and angioedema (target organ: the skin), and food allergy (target organ: all the above, plus in some cases the gastrointestinal tract).

Interesting results from the first set of bloods are: Cholesterol 6.7 (ref 3.6 - 5) Egfr 68 which indicates stage 2 CKD if kidney damage confirmed Ferritin 46 (ref 23-300) I also have chronic
rhinitis
and bouts of sinusitis which have always been linked by docs to allergies but my blood allergy

Allergic Rhinitis
When I was reading through the questions and answers tonight, I noticed that pkenn said she has had allergic
rhinitis
for around ten years. So have I. I use a nasal spray but my sleep is affected by this condition.

Had my first fight with the running machine last night :-)
There I was running away quite happily when I needed to blow my nose for what seemed like the 10th time (really must try and get on top of this
rhinitis
thing), so I'm rummaging in my pockets to get a tissue when I must have misplaced my foot.......
