CAPD catheter belts and where to get them
Hi folks, New to the site but already finding it very helpful. I have just had my PD catheter fitted and will be starting my training in a few weeks. I have been advised that PD catheter belts/band are really handy but am struggling to find many suppliers. Can someone point me in the right direction

Stage 3 Chronic Kidney disease
I was diagnosed yesterday with Stage 3 Kidney Disease. I'm still reeling from the diagnosis. I also was diagnosed with Parkinson's in 2011. I'm 60 yo and wonder why everything is suddenly going wrong after always being healthy. Any advice on diet and exercise would be helpful. Thank you

What are the Reasons of Renal Anemia
The symptom of renal anemia is so mild that patients may not feel it. Many patients think that having a good rest is enough when they have the symptoms of fatigue, dizziness, palpitation and shortness of breaths after activities because they do not have much knowledge of renal anemia. What they haven

Which has less side effects injecting insulin or pills .
I am taking diamicron xr60 , glycomet 1gm, and onglyza, recently I was also advised to take 10 units of lenctus insulin. Now if some medicines are to be reduced or say if my blood sugar levels come under control , what should I prefer to drop insulin or pills . And which will have less side effects

When does dialysis start and at what stage do you get on the Transplant List.
My wife was identified as having Kidney Disease some 12 years ago. The decline in Egfr for many years was continual but slow. However, in the last year her Egfr has fallen by 3 percent each two months. Her Egfr was 8 in February. She has not yet been prepared nor started on dialysis. I am assuming she
