Increasing Levo but not feeling great
hellooooo I've been having some trouble with increasing my levothyroxine lately and wondered if you could help please? I've been taking levothyroxine for about 4 years roughly and it's very slowly been increasing (as expected). I started on 25, then 50, then I was on 75 for about two and a half

Having problems with fatigue
I've been on levothyroxine since having my thyroid removed in 2018.Recently I have been feeling very tired and almost unable to function. I do know that the brand I am getting changed to Teva at some point and I am wondering if this is something to do with it. I've had blood tests and the GP tells

Happy Easter. Its me again, Im not sure if im over medicated or under? Tried splitting doses took levothyroxine at 4am, then t3 7am. But ive not been feeling right. Lost heartbeats again a little heart pounding today and headache. So feeling worse today? The morning dose seems to affect me the most.

Elevated Diastolic Blood Pressure & Thyroid?
I’ve read that thyroid issues can increase diastolic blood pressure while systolic remains normal. I’ve been seeing a slight increase / trend with this. Has anyone else seen this and it meant levothyroxine increase needed?

Wondering…
Right…another daft question, still trying to get my head around stuff: if you have hashis and hypothyroidism too, can an increase in symptoms at times sometimes be due to the hashimotos auto immune disease being more active rather than a problem with the hypo or levo dose? I seem to have spells

Anyone take Co Q10 and are on T4/T3?
I’m seriously thinking of adding Co q10 to my daily routine. I get migraines, and having watched many chats on the World Migraine Summit recently, it stands out as something that might help. (I’m 58, so won’t be taking it for fertility reasons). I’m not on anything that might be contraindicated with

TSH and T4 readings
Hi All I’m new to the thyroid community on Health Unlocked and have a question. I was diagnosed with under active thyroid about two years ago and was put on 25 micrograms of Levothyroxine. My last test result was TSH 7.4 and T4 was 14. My gp won’t test T3 as he says it’s the T4 that’s important and

HRT related
Hello 🌷 Please may I ask how much HRT are ladies on? Last night I accidentally left my old Evorel patch on (1 put a new one on every 3.5 days instead of the 3 day /4 day combo) and put on the new one. I realised it this morning and took the old one off. I guess it was still giving me oestrogen because

High FT4 level
My recent blood test showed my TSH level to be 0.6 miu/l and FT4 was 17.3 pmol/l. My GP has advised me to lower my levothyroxine from 125micrograms to 100 micrograms daily. I have been hypothyroid for 14 years now but just recently have been feeling anxious, agitated and stressed for no apparent reason

just tiny increase but heart all over the place
My GP wants me to increase from 50 to 75 of levothyroxine. It’s taken me so long to get up to 50 mg because I’m so sensitive insofar my heart starts racing and missing beats . I first tried taking 25ng a day in 2020. In the end I had to take it once every three days because my heart would race and

Thyroid Hormones & OC
Hi everyone, has anyone been taking levothyroxine for hypothyroidism as an OC patient? Does supplemental thyroid hormone to address hypothyroidism have an effect on cancer? A doctor I asked said no, but I did some research and came up w this, which says it does, so now I’m wondering if it’s advisable

Advice on latest results please
I’ve had a bumpy ride over the past 4 years, some of it self-induced by being impatient. When I started testing my thyroid everything was low inc tsh and cortisol, in retrospect I suppose my body was just trying to survive on drippings. I was never sure I had a thyroid problem as my tsh was always
