Resuming anal receptive sex
Hi all. I am 7 weeks out from my last radiation treatment (standard fractionation of 44 treatments... SBRT boost was decided against b/c of rectal toxicity risk). Thanks to men on this site, I was told about the benefits of delaying the return to anal receptive sex (bottoming) for two months. I have

Has anyone had
radiotherapy
after the removal of a lump from the breast? If so, can you let me know, if after the treatment had stopped the breast area treated became extremely sore (and red)? My three-week course stopped a week ago and the soreness has got much worse and is so very painful.

UCSF
Hey everyone Curious if anyone has had any type of Radiation treatment at UCSF. Just curious I have an upcoming appointment. I spoke (video) with one of their Surgeons. Of course he said RP was the way to go but I’m thinking for myself Radiating would be better.

Post treatment sensitivity to mosquito bites
Has anyone experienced a change in their body's reaction to mosquito bites after undergoing ADT and/or radiation therapy? As a kid, I got the usual hive like welt when they bit me, and eventually -- up until this year -- I've had almost no reaction when bitten. Now I get an extremely itchy blister

Are Frequent Scans Safe.
I have stage four metastatic breast cancer. My Oncologist has me going for a CAT scan and a full body bone scan every three months. Aren't those scans loaded with radiation? If they are damaging is it a good idea to have so many scans. I am quite worried about this. I am on Ibrance and Letrozole

Chemotherapy again!!! 😜😕🙄
I did
radiotherapy
before 3 years cause of bone Mets, since then I took Ibrance for 2,5 years and Femara. Before 3 months at my 6months scans and labs, we found new Mets in bones so my doctor decide to start chemo and a new pill 'Aromestan'.

Interesting report on the efficacy of IMRT on prostate cancer
An 8-year study comparing the results of various cancer treatments concluded that IMRT is equal to or in some cases superior to other treatments such as brachytherapy and surgery. Outcome of Consultation
The treatment plan will now be focused on chemotherapy /
radiotherapy
at Nottingham. I am now waiting for a second appointment date to come through to meet with a Doctor in the Oncology dept. My questions to anyone who has similar prognosis, what type of Chemo / Radio therapy was offered?
