Radiotherapy on lymph node/posting problems
I am to have
radiotherapy
on a lymph node near my armpit. There is still low activity in some other lymph nodes but my oncologist would rather watch and wait before giving me more chemo but the one under my arm has got bigger hence my treatment.

Dutasteride (Advodart) as an Alternative to ADT in Salvage RT Setting?
I know this forum is mainly focused on post-salvage advanced stage but highly respect the knowledge and opinions of the members here. There's clear evidence in the early stages of recurrence that Dutasteride (Advodart) slows or even stops the progression based on PSA results epecially when started when

Update on my father. Triplet therapy?
After my last post, my father underwent spinal cord decompression surgery - they did laminectomy and partial corpectomy of the fractured vertebrae and did pedicular screw fixation to stabilize the spine. It's been 2 weeks since surgery and he is prescribed bed rest for 4-6 weeks. After 1-2 more weeks

Mastectomy, chemotherapy,
radiotherapy
plus 15 yrs of oestrogen suppressing medication. 2022 big shock, mets in bones, liver & lungs. On ibrance 100g & letrazole. First scan showed a good reduction everywhere. Obviously things have moved on enormously since my initial diagnosis in 2001.

stage 4 small cell cancer
He initially had
radiotherapy
and chemo. He responded well. The cancer was deemed to difficult to operate on. Since then he was told the cancer has spread to his adrenal glands. This time he was given targeted
radiotherapy
. Again he responded. He is about to have another scan?

I'm very independent been advised to take the chemo 6-9 sessions, then
radiotherapy
. (I'm already doing the hormone treatment) These will massively effect me and my life and what I can do with kids....

RILP?
Anybody familiar with this complication of radiation therapy? I've been fighting with my left leg for the past 4 months with increasing loss of function. It started as a nightime drawing of my left leg across my body and has now progressed to paralysis of the quad muscles and I am now having to use

Ive been in treatment at Shaw Cancer Center in Edwards, CO for metastic prostrate cancer. Advice after diagnosis due to Chemo
Hi I have just finished 8 cycles of chemo and 15 rounds of

for breast cancer and all is good. However my recent heart scan compared to the one I had before treatment and one half way through shows that my heart has dropped a little.

PSA Rising
It has been about 2 years since beam radiation therapy. My PSA had very slowly declined to about 1.8 two months ago. 3 months before that it was 2.1. I just had a PSA test done in preparation for a phone call with my old radiation oncologist as I moved out of state to Philadelphia. When I took my PSA

Can I ask what to expect during the initial hormone therapy + five to eight weeks of radiation?
Hi All, My father has just completed two weeks of radiation and I thought he was handling it very well but today seemed to be a really bad day. It has me a bit shaken up as it seemed to have come out of no where. Wondering if these symptoms are normal and how much worse we can expect this to get. Along
