I am to have radiotherapy on a lymph node near my armpit. There is still low activity in some other lymph nodes but my oncologist would rather watch and wait before giving me more chemo but the one under my arm has got bigger hence my treatment. I wondered if anyone else had had this and was it successful.
I would like to add that it is impossible for me to reply to, or post on this site on my Amazon Fire tablet. Have reported this. They suggested updating my OS but it is up to date and I dont understand why after two plus years it suddenly does this. If anyone else has experienced a problem with posting/replying but solved the issue would be good to hear. OK on my laptop

I was thinking about you last night, wondering how you had got on with the Oncologist. It sounds sensible to have radiotherapy on that one lymph node,if the others are showing low activity. I have never heard of it for lymph nodes. The only thing i know about radiotherapy is,it makes you tired. I had internal radiotherapy (brachytherapy) following the first lot of chemo after hysterectomy. I do know several people that have had radiotherapy for different types of cancer, but not ovarian and older people to who it has worked for. Sorry cannot help you with the problem on the ipad.
I am off to Oncologist this afternoon, so not sure what is in store for me. Good luck with the radiotherapy, let us know how it goes.xx
hi Lizzie. I had 5 sessions of radiotherapy to a lymph node in my groin in 2020 3 years after initial diagnosis of stage 4 ovarian/ peritoneal cancer and it worked well. Not come back (yet) 🤞it only took a few mins to do and had no side effects at all. So good luck and I am sure it will be fine for you. Sending hugs xx
