constant bad taste in moutg

hi

im coming towards the end of my treatment 30 sessions of radiotherapy and chemo and i have a constant bad taste in my mouth mainly in the back of my throat. wonder if anyone else has this and any suggestions? i have no appetite because of this and having to force myself to eat. someone suggested sauerkraut b but i really don’t like the stuff.

sauerkraut sounds revolting! I feel your pain about appetite and lack of I’ve had cravings as if I’m pregnant- cauliflower cheese was a big one, recently I’ longed for roll mop herrings and potato salad strange but true…My chemo unit gave me mouthwash when issuing the chemoreally important to keep your teeth up to scratch use tepees see your dentist, at one point I was advised before a round of lomustine chemo to have five teeth extracted!! I didn’t they’re still there but I follow a strict regime of teeth cleaning and mouth wash plenty of water during the day xx
