How much exercise needed?
I know everybody’s body differs but … still I’d like some guidelines. Until a couple years ago I was pretty fit, running most days, going to gym 2x per week but then started having hip pain. I would’ve replaced hip but got Dx with PCa 6 months ago and so have postponed that. I’ve had HDR Brachy and

Seasonal Dose Change of Thyroid Meds
Hi If you have to adjust your meds (reduce) when the summer heats up, how do you know you need to do it? How does it make you feel? I'm struggling to make headway here. Given my last blood results on Armour Thyroid, I needed to increase my dose. So I did. I crept up 1/8th at a time to 2 + 3/8 grains

New to this: travel during ADT & post EBRT?
New to this group and the Dx took me by complete surprise. I'm 76 and in excellent health - or so I thought! - and now this happens. PSA between 7 and 8 over the past year, wait and see. April PSA was 7.4 and DRE indicated a mass. MRI, biopsy followed, showing Gleason 4=3=7, Stage IIC. Did another

Second Gen ADT Drug Issues
Dont remember seeing this on here yet. I guess one weighs increased risk of dementia vs stopping PC. Wouldnt want to be in that position. I remember back before my SRT went on Bicalutamide for one month before SRT started and then stopped when I read that is also linked to dementia. Crap. https://www.urologytimes.com

Prostatectomy 2012, Oligometastatic 2021. Metabolic approach ,no ADT, no chemo. Interested in Lutetium 177, Dr. Kwon Mayo patient
Born in 1947. As a1969 college graduation present, complements of a low draft number, I served a tour in Vietnam, on river patrol duty. I was surrounded by defoliated trees due to the use of Agent Orange and I imagine I drank a lot of AO contaminated water. Fast forward to 2012 to discover I had

PSA reading
My RP was done on jan 31, ( 5months and two weeks ago). I had PSA resistence so I have been on ADT since April 15. I have my PSA checked last week and the report came out yesterday with two results: < 0.006 ( by medical lab with the examination of serum) and < 0.058 ( by nulcear medical check). I asked

18 vs 24 mos ADT
I was dx in Oct 2021 with Gleason 8, t3a, N1,M0 grade IV PC received 39 radiation treatments after3 mos of firmagon and Zytiga. PSA is undetectable. MO has agreed to 24 mos ADT since I had a clean bone scan originally, lymph nodes do not show disease now. Tumor was outside prostate on MRI. The Predict-RT

Help with compounding ingredients
Considering having NDT compounded, to not have lactose & as few ingredients as possible. We do not have a lactose,-free levothyroxine in Canada. And I know Thyroid S has lactose. The pharmacist has asked me about cellulose as the filler, and how I do on that. I have no clue & when researching it comes

Prednisone side effects
I've been on Lupron/Abi/Pred for about 13 months. Never had high blood pressure prior to this ADT treatment. Was warned that high BP was one of the primary side effects of my treatment plan. Pretty quickly, I developed elevated BP and I am on 50mg of Losartan daily. 25mg wasn't enough. I am also

Can anyone recommend an online doctor. I am looking to get a prescription for NDT
I used to see a doctor privately, who had my blood tested every year and prescribed NDT to me, but he has retired and I am somewhat lost. My GP is prescribing levothyroxine, but I don’t really feel well, ever. I understand you can now have a blood test and a doctor who will read it and write you

GP surgery declined levo private endo prescribed- how to complain?
I recently saw a GP to prescribe the levo that my private endocrinologist recommended in a letter sent to my GPs but she refused because she didn’t see an indication as my tsh was fine and wrote to my endocrinologist questioning it. I made an appointment with my named GP but unfortunately as the other

NEW NDT ADTHYZA
I am not sure if anyone has heard of the latest NDT. It is free of the following, Gluten, Lactose, Corn, Dyes, and Latex. The main drawback is the fact that it contains, guess what, Mannitol.

Can I travel to Spain with NDT
Hi everyone, We are travelling to Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands in a few weeks and I am on Erfa Thyroid NDT. What do I need to travel with this please? And is it legal in Spain (I’m just found out from an old post on here it’s illegal in France 😱). I will ask my private Doctor for a letter

Inspiration
This is a photo of me after 9 months on ADT, age 70. I’ve always tried to stay in good shape. Jack LaLane inspired me as a kid in the early 1960’s. Later inspired by Larry Scott, Arnold, Lou and others. I built muscle naturally, no steroids. As my testosterone naturally decreased in my late 50’

Can you combine levo and NDT?
Hello All, I wonder if any of you are successfully combining levo and NDT together and if you can even do it? I am currently taking levo only, alternating 88-88-75, but my T3 could be a bit higher. It was at 4.1 and I would like to see it around 5. I have a lot of hair loss, some fatigue and also

Xgeva side effects?????
I started ADT a little over a year ago. I'm on Trelstar and my PSA is < 0.04. In March of this year I started taking Erleada. The side effects from both drugs have been minimal, some hot flashes and fatigue. Two months ago my doctor started me on Xgeva. The first dose I felt no ill effects, but
