Pyridium

Definitely pain with urinating the first 24 hours, relieved with pyridium/tylenol and 1 hydrocodone. Repeat 3 days later, that time no postop pain with urinating.

Tried vesicare, myrbetriq, pyridium, and levsin. Perhaps wrong forum to ask, but I can't take much more. He wants to do botox injections but I'm afraid symptoms getting worse after going back in.

I had some really bad burning during urination for about 2 weeks, but the Pyridium saved me. I was also prescribed Flomax for one month, which was a big help. I have no incontinence and expect no ED, but was in pain urinating until a couple of days ago and wasn't even thinking about sex.

We discussed these with the RadOnc last week, and he was prescribed Pyridium and Flomax.

Urinary hydroxyproline and pyridium cross-link excretion are increased and fall to normal after therapy [306]. Serum carboxy-terminal-1-telopeptide and serum osteocalcin levels and urinary osteocalcin secretion are increased and return to normal with therapy[268,313,315].

The only thing that seems to help is Azo (Pyridium) for bladder soothing. I'm currently on Doxil/Avastin for my first recurrence. It also happened once while I was on carbo/taxol during frontline. Can anyone relate to this? If so, did anything help?

The surgery has helped with my urinary stream flow and Pyridium has also helped with the burning sensation previously experienced. However, I don't want to be medicinally dependent and resigned to this type of treatment for the rest of my life.

Took pyridium prescription to avoid pain in urethra at end of urination. Pyridium doesn't seem to work. Drink tons of water. Was just discomfort then slowly over 3 week period got worse. Went to gyno and she did pelvic exam didn't use jelly or anything just rubber gloves.

I live on pyridium/azo which helps a little bit.

I'm on cipro and pyridium for 3 days. I can't sleep bladder pain is so bad. I'm at the end of my rope. I can't work my pain is so bad in my bladder, can't sleep, wake up 3-6 times at night.
