Ectopic like feeling that lasts 2-3 seconds. What is it?
Hello everyone. I know this topic is discussed frequently but I really need help with this weird feeling concerning my heart. I get PVC's and PAC's mostly everyday and although these gave me quite the scare when they first appeared now they are just a nuisance. But maybe twice a month I get this different

Skipped Heartbeats
I had a normal EKG, but since I have about one
PVC
(basically an extra heartbeat, feels like a skipped beat) every minute, next week I am gonna do a 48 hour holter monitor.

Hello, I'm Lisa, 29 years old and here goes my story... Back in 2017 I went to my dermatologist because my hair was falling out a lot. She ran some tests, one of them being an ANA which came back positive. I went to see a rheumy and she said i have mild Lupus...I should note, before I was diagnosed with

General malaise
Hi, I am a bit confused by my symptoms and wonder whether anyone can help? Over the past few weeks I have been feeling very strange - a general malaise, nausea, loss of appetite and occasional chest discomfort, centred near the sternum. As a result of all this, I also feel generally restless. This morning

Low dose aspirin
Following episodes of visual disturbance which Opthomologist said is neurological, probably linked to optical migraine as I get the aura but no headache, my GP recommended a low daily dose of aspirin. FEV1 before commencing aspirin 2 weeks ago was stable for 9 years at around 78% but since taking aspirin

Tough time
Not really a question, just venting. I've been having a tough time lately. My last lung test showed 70 percent FEV1, but it sure feels much worse than that. Emphysema and asthma. Diagnosed at 64, now 66. Quit smoking 24 years ago. In addition to inhalers, was on klonopin or xanax daily for 2 years. Quit

Confused and Scared
Hi I was first diagnosed with COPD 9 years ago and it has been stable in all that time. FEV1 always between 74 and 78. Yesterday at my annual check up and spirometery test my FEV1 was 60, this is a significant drop in 12 months. However my GP offered no possible explanation but has given me a letter

Extreme fluctuating pulse, all tests normal. Ablation done 2 years ago.
Hi everyone, Just curious if anybody else finds themselves in the same predicament as me? In 2014, I started suffering terribly frequent PVCs (ectopics), around 10,000 a day, as well as a very unsteady pulse. I had an ablation in February 2016, and this thankfully was successful and eliminated 98% of

Sputum
Hi Everyone, I was wondering if anyone can give me some advice, before I speak to my Dr. on Monday. I've had two lots of antibiotics and in between finishing one lot of anti-biotics and starting the next lot I had to do a sputum test, which for some odd reason I found very difficult. Anyway the results

PVC and Alcohol
Hi guys, I have PVCs and some ectopic beats from my upper heart as well. I was told to never drink caffeine or alcohol again because of these factors... I’m only 23. Does anyone with a similar situation follow those rules? I usually only have a handful of the ectopics and PVCs a day but on occasion

Increasing copd fev1 results
Hi, I'm new to this site and have been diagnosed to have copd. My fev1 test on: March 2017 44% January 2018 55% December 2018 59% Is it normal for it to rise so? I'm worried that the original diagnoses is sound. Has anyone got any thoughts on this please, I would be grateful.

My ablation experience
Hi everyone, I wanted to share my recent ablation experience as I know there are others who have upcoming procedures and still others who are deciding whether or not to go the ablation route to address their arrhythmias. Since I found the experiences of others helpful in my own decision making and coping

PVC’s
Anyone got any good advice to reduce PVCs - mine are horrific at the moment - had constant for a week now - around 10-15 a minute. I have cardiomyopathy - hence the issue - but the PVCs are like never before at the minute - mainly when I’m resting sand my heart is lower than 65bpm Any experiences that
