Hi everyone I'm new on here. Have been a smoker for getting on for 50yrs, 61yrs now. Was diagnosed with copd 2weeks ago, after getting a cold and ending up having oxygen, scary. My fev1 was 52% but reversibility to 79%, have to use the inhaler everyday. I haven't smoked 1 cigarette since, it scared the life out of me.

Your letters have been a wonderful inspiration to me xxx

Welcome but remember it is also important to keep out of smokey environments and free of strong cleaning agents. Good luck and keep smiling
