Multiple SVTs in a 24 hour period?
It caught a few short SVTs and a few PAC,
PVC
. My last EKG, stress test and Echo were about a year ago. I don't drink caffeine, or do drugs, and I drink socially. Never had alcohol trigger when drinking it, but it is a trigger for my anxiety and skips the next day if I had a bit too much.

Wow, during my wifit plus exercising this morning I managed to complete 1 hours exercise which included 24 minutes of running ( 8 x 3 minutes ) whilst holding a conversation with my wife, my peak heart rate was 141 bpm, I didn't feel breathless at all and felt l could have carried on if my legs held

Popped to GP, result as expected.
I had a mixed weekend, I managed to get out both days to do things which was great BUT both days I suffered a lot of thumps/jolts/skips which restricted my mobility doing those things quite a bit. I've had this now 13 weeks to varying degrees but recently it's worsened again which is frustrating. I saw

Stage II COPD
Hi everyone, I went to my pulmo specialist the other day and had the spirometry test done. The important digits are FVC: 79,5% FEV1: 55% FEV1/FVC: 59.59% The above numbers felt like a kick in the head because I thought I was doing much better than this. I believe I don't at all feel as I theoretically

Recognising the effect of anxiety within AF
My heart stayed in good rhythm aside from the occasional thump of a PAC or a
PVC
. But as my HR rose with exertion, so did my adrenaline. Within 10 minutes, my entire body was humming with adrenaline. Not quite as severe as a "fight or flight" situation, but unpleasant and disturbing nonetheless.

Gone from severe to very severe emphysema but things still look promising!
I had an appointment with my lung specialist today for the half yearly review and also results of CT scan, echocardiogram, and respiratory tests done to be considered for the procedure where they insert endobronchial nitinol coils to improve lung function. (I think I mentioned this earlier in May this

Pure emphysema
Male 49 years old . Just been diagnosed with pure emphysema. I am an ex-smoker, so I knew the risks. However I am having a hard time understanding the PFT report. FEV1 107%pred, FEV1/IVC 98%pred, FEV1/FVC 103%pred, PEF 110%, TLC 114% BUT... Residual value: RV 210%pred and RV/TLC 171%. So even if FEV1

Worried about palpitations/cardiomyopathy
I have had palpitations for years and years , since I was about 12 years old. I have also had an anxiety disorder for around the same length of time (OCD and generalised anxiety). I have a lot of ECGs and a 24 hr recording taken, the 24 hr one showed some PVCs and PACs but nothing to be concerned over

Confused
Hi there, I was diagnosed with copd 4 months ago and went back today to see the nurse for my first breath test. She said that it had improved slightly but mentioned an average reading. I keep on hearing on this site about Fev1 readings but have never heard about an average reading. I'm confused. Lyn

Hybrid ablation part 2
I am part of a clinical trial to judge the outcomes of a mini maze procedure followed by a catheter ablation compared to two catheter ablations. I had been in persistent AF since Feb 2016, give or take a few weeks after cardioversion. I had the mini maze on April 6th. Since then I have been predominantly
