Loop recorder
I am not exactly sure where to post this and so I hope this is the proper place. I have been having dizzy/lightheaded (not room spin dizzy) spells since 2010. They started off being a rare occurrence, once every several months lasting a second or so but starting last year they have become much more

Adrift in a sea of confusion
Hello, everybody, and thank you for all the information I've gotten from this forum. Just last week I saw my pulmonologist and told her that I was feeling poorly. I mean, really poorly. She had diagnosed me with emphysema/asthma. She did a breathing test and said I was the same I was in February -- FEV1

Constant Head Pressure
I have been having pressure in my head pretty much all the time. I also have some dizziness and occasional pain and more frequent bowel movements. This has been going on for almost 2 months now. I have hypothyroidism for which I take Levothyroxin. I just had my TSH level checked in June and my med

Heart pvc and ndt?
Hello I have heart
pvc
a lot with a healthy heart no disease. I want to get ndt but not shore if it wise to use ndt? Some say it can be because of hypothyroid and other doctors say don t use t3. Who has experience with it? Will it make it worse?

Had my new breathing test
And the results were the same as they were in February. I feel terrible, and my pulmonologist seems puzzled. My FEV1 was 70 percent. She told me my emphysema/asthma is "mild." She listened to my heart and lungs. I had an x-ray just two months ago. She says my lungs are clear. So now my doctor seems to

I have been suffering from near fainting spells, ligheadness and dizzness for some time now along with a host of other symptoms. My most recent 2 week monitor was done end of June and I just got a copy of my results but I wont be seeing the dr until Tuesday. The results showed PVCS, PACS, ventricular

Frightened
I take a new breathing test tomorrow morning. I'm very worried. In February, my FEV1 was said to be 71 percent, but in the last month my breathing has declined precipitously. I just Googled breathing tests and learned that you should NOT used your inhalers beforehand. I did not know that for my last

PVC flutter
Hi Just wondering I get the occasional heart flutter pvc's it's very quick the flutter itself feels strange like a burning feeling in the chest which lasts like a second. The part that worries me is it makes me feel off in the head spacy like for a while afterwards, and I always burp soon after also

Taking oxygen away!
No longer need oxygen after 4 years. FEV1 is 61. Do the Dr take in account that the test taken is given at rest and when exercising the oxygen level goes lower with just walking no housework, etc. I can hardly breath after going up stairs. At rest my oxygen is usually 96 with exercise even with meds

Heat issues after ablation
Had what we thought was successful first ablation in January. At the end of June I started having issues with pvcs and tachycardia. I was on vacation at hit beach in North Carolina and had a ton of horrible episodes. I’m now back on rhythmol and cardizem and see cardio Monday. Landed in urgent care

My Journey With PACs, PVCs and SVT: How I Cured My Heart Palpitations
Hello all, I hope this doesn't fall under "commercial use of the site". This is certainly not a cash grab, but hoping I could help people who are in a similar situation as me, I wrote a short book about my experiences with various types of arrhythmia. Like many people I spent years scouring the internet

Do I Need OXYGEN
After being on oxygen for almost 4 years and completing a PFT test was told I did not need oxygen any more. I was shocked because I was told that I would be on oxygen for the rest of my life along with meds.Spirometry shows a reduced FEV!/FVC and FEV1 with normal FVC. Normal lung volume with a normal
