Flecainide for VT
Hi, Is anyone taking Flecainide for VT ? I have been suffering with PVCs for the last 3 years. I’m currently taking 10mg of Nebivolol which don’t seem to be working. I have previously taken Varapamil and Bisoprolol which didn’t work either. My EP has suggested trialing Flecainide first before going down

Pre Ventricular Contractions Diagnosis
Hi everyone! I am new here and this is my first post/question. I was recently diagnosed with PVCs by a cardiologist. He prescribed Metoprolol but my heart beats were still 18.9% PVCs, so he recommended me to an Electrophysiolgist for ablation consideration. Now reading posts here I see that people

Lung function tests: help interpreting what it means
I don't really know what my tests mean, apart from being pretty good overall. This was on Seretide (ICS + LABA) , at a dose that totally suppressed my ACTH and adrenals, but it has been a wonderful medicine for my asthma. I have been reducing the dose a lot since the lung test. FEV1 - 114% FEV1/

Pvcs all day and chest discomfort
Hi I am a 50yr old female and have had svt and ectopic beats for the last almost thirty years. My ectopic beats are all day every day and are caused by changes in air for example the wind outside windows that are open and steam from a pan or kettle. I have found them worse now than they have ever been

PVCs a way to stop them, I find.
I have discovered that when they start, if I stretch my arms up for about 10 seconds above my head (as you do when waking up in the morning, a good yawn and stretch), they quickly subside to normal rythm, If they return I do the same again. You can watch on a pulseoximeter - it goes from 39 - 70

PVC Plumbing
I’m wondering if anyone has
PVC
plumbing in their home? Currently living in an apartment building that was built in 2005, and concerned about possible lead in
PVC
. I know there are current standards, but I’m not sure if they applied in 2005.

Pacemaker advice
I've been offered a pacemaker after having very slow and high heartbeats and a recent holter confirmed heart pauses and PVCS borderline over 10% of daily 100.000 bpm. I know lots of you have pacemakers Can you give me advice on the pros and cons.. Thanks Janet

Melatonin can induce arrhythmia!
ARTICLE
: "Sleep Medications Containing Melatonin can Potentially Induce Ventricular Arrhythmias in Structurally Normal Hearts: A 2-Patient Report" https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/labs/pmc/articles/PMC5642341/ Yikes! As I had reported earlier, I seemed to have miraculously ended my afib inadvertently

Donna Quixote, that's me, taking on a giant
Scrolling down my facebook page I saw an advert for Lignosus, an all natural product to care for/strengthen lungs. I have no idea whether it's total rubbish or performs miracles my argument is with their advert. Take our test it said. Hold your breath and see how many times the dot rotates... I did

Body position helping ectopic beats
OK, it is 4 am… My PAF (which was weekly or twice a week) seems to have morphed into lots of ectopics in the last 4 weeks. The upside is less AF (just went almost 3 weeks in NSR, not complaining 🥴) but we all know the PACs and/or PVCs can almost feel worse. Does anyone else notice that sitting up

Ventricular ectopics
So my current loop recorder has shown I get ventricular ectopics. My cardiologist doesn't seem overly concerned at the moment but when I have these I experience a sharp stabbing pain in the left side of the chest. Has anyone else had similar experiences with PVCs, should I be worried?

Pulsating Tinnitus
Hi! I’m a 70 y/o female and was diagnosed with Afib a year ago. I have had PVCs, PACs, SVEs since I was in my 20s. Bad thing is, I am aware and can feel almost every single irregular beat. And now, with pulsating tinnitus which I’ve had approximately six years, I can HEAR every single irregular beat

Oxygen : to be or not to be? A long sad tale.
BACKGROUND I have Bronchiectasis and bronchiolitis obliterans. For 2yrs + my Fev1 was 30%. DOWNHILL Aug 2020 I was in hospital with an infective flare up. On O2 for 12 hrs. Strong antibiotics. A week on I insisted on a sputum test. 16 days in hospital, my blood test results showed a lessening of symptoms

Posted last year re a wave of bigeminy/PVCs that came on after each of the vaccines - mild ectopics in my life prior to that period once or twice a year if that! & always associated with e.g. too much booze/caffeine etc. Lost 3months across the two vaccine jabs, and whilst capturing worst of rythmns
