My charity goal
Contracting Post-Partum
Psychosis
after the birth!? And that’s my fault is it!? I am going to work so hard to raise money towards funding a psychiatric mother and baby unit in Wales. Yes its going to be hard and yes I’m going to need everyones help but I am going to achieve this.

Depression & Psychosis
My Daughter has spent 20 months in 3 different mental health units and is at home with us now. she is taking antipsychotic drugs clorazapine to combat voices, her day is almost the same every day, she spends most of the morning in bed, gets up at lunchtime, has lunch, sits down watches a bit of TV and

Groups in south west london
Hello I was wondering if anyone knew of PP support groups in SW London? I know that’s quite a specific question - I currently attending a group support for PND but would find a PP - one where they meet on a regular basis? Many thanks

Finding some sort of closure
I think the main thing I’m battling at the moment is the fact that I was never actually diagnosed with postpartum
psychosis
, or indeed with anything, and even looking at the posts on here makes me feel a bit like some kind of fraud.

Low libido after PP
Did anyone else suffer with a low libido after PP? I had PP when my baby was 3.5 months old and had little or no libido for months afterwards, and didn't have that problem before the illness. I think it was related to low confidence and loss of self esteem, but also a feeling of numbness and difficulty

Feeling helpless
Had postpartum
psychosis
after my son was 3 months. It came completely as a shock; I had been doing really well. That has passed and now two months later, in a deep depression. How long will this last? I feel so helpless and of no use to my child or husband.

Postpartum psychosis
My partner has postpartum
psychosis
, she was diagnosed this week and it's totally out of the blue with no family illness, nothing. It's been horrendous seeing my usually happy independent outgoing girlfriend now be a different person.

LEVOTHYROXINE 50 MG AND FERROUS FUMARATE 210 MG X 2
She took
Psychosis
after having no previous illness apart from the thyroid problem and tiredness and anxiety. I know that
Psychosis
can be caused by an underactive thyroid and not getting the right amount of hormone but they still won't move the iron tablet to a different time.

Was it psychosis or clinical depression?
I feel like there is this huge grey area for the term "
psychosis
". I never detached from reality only in derealization from the huge amounts of anxiety I had...which happened occassionally before PPD also. Could it possibly be clinical depression with psychotic features? Or true PPD?

Topiramate and the unlucky few
That article seems to indicate that they think the
psychosis
effect might be dopamine related? I’m curious if any of you have taken topamax and may have noticed these symptoms.

Concerns about medication
His doctor has prescribed Quillichew ER and I am extremely concerned about the list of possible side effects (
psychosis
, allergic reactions, heart problems). My husband is completely against medication and thinks he's just "going through a phase".

psychosis
. I haven’t been able to work since. I feel like the chest tightness is worse. I feel like each time I take a breath something is pulling inside of my chest . It hurts terribly .

New Here --- Hello. :)
Psychosis
is gone (woot!!!!!!) --- however, anxiety is starting up again. I'm wondering about others' experiences with different benzodiazepines. Currently the one i take is Tranxene (clorazepate).
