PSA
hovering between 0.3 and 0.6. MO appointment coming in up with a big question in my mind: continue with chemo or not? My QOL is approaching the tipping point. I'm a warrior but am not going to fight a losing battle and suffer with tons of pain in many places.

Bone Pain
Also had an other
PSA
test just one month after the last and it is still increasing at a 1 month or less doubling rate. Now at 36.65. I can tolerate the pain during the day it is just an annoyance maybe a level 5 or so.

Blood work on radiation and Lupron
Urology physician assistant (PA) gave me a
PSA
blood lab slip to do prior to my next Lupron shot which is about 15 days after completing radiation. She said it was standard office protocol to do
PSA
test prior to Lupron shot.

Welcome to Stage Denial
It was a
PSA
score of 9.2, the result of a routine blood test in February 2023, had embarked on this exploration Surgery has been ruled out as a treatment option because of the spread. So, various treatment options have been outlined for me including radiation, ADT, and some form of chemo.

Has Anyone had a CGA CHROMOGRANIN A, EIA Test ? It’s tumor marker test.
PSA
@ diagnosis 942. 40 currently <0.06 ng/mL I have had blood in stool since July, it’s bright red, I’m having to wait to see Gastroenterologist until next week. I was put on Taltz and only on it 6 months and the main side effect is IBS with blood, as noted on line.

PSA < 0.1
Not <0.1, then you would know what your
PSA
number really is.

so a different shoe dropped
Then in 2018 his internal medicine doctor ordered a routine
PSA
. Same time his VA doctor also ordered a routine
PSA
. Yeah both were outside the normal range. So he was referred to the urologist. More PSAs and the dreaded bend over and cough.

As for posting the two names here, it crossed my mind that linking them might make it easier for people who might want to follow up on some of the topics I'm particularly interested in: "prejudice against
PSA
testing", "ADT choices", "ADT and exercise", "triplet therapy".
