Switching from Abi to Enza?
It has nicely brought down his
PSA
from 500 to less than 1 and kept it steadily less than 1 since the past one year. He, of course, takes Lupron alongside. However, Abiraterone has resulted in some side effects, the major one being increase in blood sugar levels.

Asking for a friend.
Don’t know his
PSA
number. I told my friend that guys in my PC support group with a Gleason score of 6 have been on active surveillance for years. Anyone riding that boat with some info I can pass along. The guy is scared to death. ET 51

My initial Pluvicto response
So far: Aug 16:
PSA
99.7 Aug 21: Pluvicto #1 Sep 11:
PSA
106 Sep 28:
PSA
91.8 So it appears to be working. Side effects: • A little tired, but that was offset by a week of steroids as was any "rebound pain" from extensive mets in my pelvis and spine.

3months Post-HD Brachytherapy
Yesterday checked my first
PSA
, 0.8. ( was 7 at treatment). I really enjoyed the experience, crazy as that sounds, due to the doctors, PA, nurses, techs, even the secretaries. They were all so nice & friendly. Can’t recommend them enough.

2 Questions
PSA
on April 17 with just Lupron was .7. I started Xtandi on April 15th. My
PSA
on May 14th was still .7. My MO said this was likely my nadir. I’m not sure if radiation will be approved with a .7
PSA
. I’ve received the results of my 2nd PSMA PET scan yesterday.

Update on my daddy- 8 years stage four
Dad is now 82 and the effects of treatment are more evident than ever on him. 😞 Fast forward to the present, when seeing his
PSA
on the rise his oncologist considered Pluvicto.

Just joined the club no one wants to be a member of in April 2023 - can Gleason 9 be cured ?
The highest my
PSA
has ever been was 5.48 in December 2022 and it dropped to .09 with Testosterone of 14 in August two months after a shot of Eligard and 3 months of Casodex. Since then I have had 48 seeds planted via Brachytherapy and I am about to start EBRT.

Should I end active surveillance and treat?
I had the
PSA
taken again on September 6 and it is 5.89 which is actually lower than the 6.15 that came back on February 23, 2023. Both the surgeon and the radiologist where I go are saying I could stay on AS or get treated.

PSA from secondary deposits!
I had a radical prostatectomy in 2012 and my
PSA
levels until about a year ago were undetectable. I was then on annual
PSA
blood tests, but now they have put them up to 3 monthly as the
PSA
has risen, although still very low at around 0.2 .

My Pluvicto Journey is Over
I finished treatment #5 on August 10th with a
PSA
of over 400. But worse than that was what it did to my hemoglobin and Platelet counts. Last week my hemoglobin was down to 6.2 and after 2 units of blood it only rose to 7.8. Platelet counts drooped to 18k.
