BROQ/Prostaphane
I would be potentially interested in taking it beyond a 6 months period without a break if my next
PSA
results are reasonably good. I will ask the manufacturer but would be interested to hear of others experiences.

Diet for ADT
My
PSA
has dropped from 9.2 to 1.2 to 0.9. My Gleason Score is 9 in six cores and 6 in one more. I will receive implanted gold fiducials on April 12, and will start five sessions of SBRT on April 29, 2024. I am 85 years old.

Starting Third Month of Orgovyx--Update
Blood test after two months shows
PSA
of 1.45, down from 16.5--over a 90% drop. So, the medication is working as advertised. I believe their own stats indicate an approx. 98% drop in 90 days. This week's visit with my new MO nurse practitioner went well.

PSA level six months Eligard
I was diagnosed with PC in September 2022 with
PSA
level of 35 and had my prostate removed in January 2023. Since then, I started ADT in June 2023 and went through 39 sessions of SRT. My current
PSA
is 0.008 ng/mL.

Pluvicto results (good news), next steps
I am currently on Lupron and Nubeqa and my
PSA
and testosterone remain undetectable. I will rotate C-11 and PSMA scans every three months going forward. Question: my doctor has told me that I will likely stay on Lupron and Nubeqa for the next two to three years.

My prostate journey and testosterone side effects
PSA
remains less then 0.04 ng/ml and my testosterone is now back in the normal range at 368 ng/dl. Now my question: can anyone share with me how long the side effects should last after Testosterone comes back into normal range?

Docetaxel - how many rounds did you have?
With my husband's recent
PSA
reading of 5 (down from 162 before we started chemo), it appears still to be working for him. Our MO plans to continue as long as it works and his body tolerates it.

Moving on to Provenge/Sipuleucel-t
His
psa

PSA Response From Broccoli Sprout Extract (Sulforaphane) May Due To Just Being Moderate ADT
Essentially, the
PSA
lowering effect, in my opinion, is due Sulforaphane reducing Testosterone and DHT levels.

had 4 treatments of Pluvicto is not dropping PSA
The first treatment dropped my
PSA
by over 100 points; however, the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th
PSA
climbed rapidly. My question is, Should he continue the treatment if it is not working for him?? Thank you, Concerned wife.

Chemo Failed
His
PSA
went from 0.58 to 2.3. Things he tried: Lupron (on for years before failed) Zytiga (worked for 18 months) Orchidectomy Then the chemo. He is not a candidate for radiation because of a previous cancer. He is going to get a PET scan and go back to oncologist in 6 weeks.

Please help us decide on next treatment
As I mentioned in my prior post my Dad’s
PSA
started going up. He had a PSMA Pet scan and it shows activity in the left side of prostate gland and in one rib.

Post triple therapy options?
The
PSA
numbers came down gradually, but seem to be stalling around 1.3. (Three weeks earlier it was 1.5). My impression was that the
PSA
should ideally be close to zero, and I'm concerned that the 1.3 level may reflect some castrate-resistance and active tumor(s).

Do low PSA-producing cells still rely on testosterone to grow?
If higher
PSA
cells are driven to near extinction by ADT, and if only low-
PSA
producing cells survive, are the latter still dependent on testosterone for survival? If not, what do they depend on to grow?

Today was a good day
He also had his
PSA
tested today and no change since December. I feel like I can breathe for a moment. We also met with the radiation oncologist this morning to discuss brachytherapy boost and it was a very positive meeting. It’s definitely a contender and we really liked her.
