Rising PSA
My
PSA
has been undetectable (<0.01) for all that time. This week it was .02 I’m going to redo the test to make sure. Then my urologist wants to refer me to a radiation oncologist. Has anyone had any experience with this. It’s really been hard trying to sort this all out.

Enzalutamide Plus 5-Alpha Reductase Inhibitors for Castrate-Sensitive Prostate Cancer
The results are promising, showing a median
PSA
progression-free survival that was not reached, with many patients maintaining low
PSA
levels for several years. Despite side effects like fatigue and gynecomastia, the treatment is well tolerated.

PSA Dropped after 22 days of Zytiga
Today I had a
PSA
test. My
PSA
dropped from 0.8 on November 1 to 0.44 today. I was not expecting such dramatic fall in
PSA
after only 22 days of Abiraterone . I will have another
PSA
test on January 4. Should I expect further fall in
PSA
?

PSMA scan
My
PSA
was .027. I hope this knocks it out. I am also contemplating ADT but unsure which would work first or second generation.

Is a false-positive biopsy possible?
As a result, for the last 13 years, I've had my
PSA
checked every six months. I typically run a very low
PSA
, historically .5 or .6. About 18 months ago I noticed that my
PSA
was rising, from .63, then .75, then .89, and then in September, it was .97.

Short-term tactics to keep PSA in check
My anxiety (and it's running rampant currently) stems from the
PSA
scores. Currently, I'm at my zenith: 121. I still have no symptoms, but I worry about the spread of mets and the rising
PSA
. I feel like I'm in a race against time.

I like it, but not too much: Phase 2 trial of a DNA vaccine (pTVG-HP) and nivolumab in patients with nmHSPC
"No patients met the primary endpoint of complete
PSA
response; however, 4/19 (21%) patients had a
PSA
decline >50%. Median
PSA
doubling times were 5.9 months pretreatment, 25.6 months on-treatment (p=0.001), and 9.0 months in the subsequent year off-treatment.

PSA level vs vasectomy question
Doesn't that fluid if any increase blood
PSA
also? or Free
PSA
floating around my system? Curious if anyone has knowledge of that, or if I am completely wrong on anatomy.

CTC circulating tumor cell count
I haven’t seen too much mention of CTC tests when
PSA
rises. Some rises at very low levels are not clearly correlated or confirmed by PET scans. So why isn’t CTC used, too expensive, inaccurate, most men lack a baseline test?

When he was diagnosed in May 2022 his
PSA
was 4700, he has widespread bone metastases. He stopped responding to Docetaxel, Pluvicto and is now not responding to Cabazitaxel, his

Improving Symptoms with Rising PSA
If prostate symptoms
(less urinary frequency/less urgent urination/finally can sleep through night)
are improving, but
PSA
is increasing
(from 10 to15)
over last few years where at
10
MRI was negative, what does kind of pattern indicate or suggests?

PSA drop with decreasing Testosterone after Estrogen Patch Therapy
The answer is "Yes", and one can extrapolate the trend a short distance down to zero
PSA
at zero testosterone level. It's exciting to discover linear relationships from complex data sets! Bob
