Moving on to Provenge
I’m now beginning
Provenge
next week now that I’m officially mCRPC. A little freaked out of the unknown for me (the leukapheresis part, which I’ve never done before), but I’m sure I’ll do fine...then it’s on to Zytiga or Xtandi I guess - but I’ve made it this long, so I’m sure I’ll be fine.

A look at the next generation of Androgen Receptor therapies--AR Degraders/PROTACS
Today, people turn to things like
Provenge
, Xofigo, Lu-177 or Cabazitaxel, but in the future, these kind of drugs will be the answer also. But... what is a PROTAC /AR Degrader??

Xtandi appears to be ineffective
Dr. has scans ordered and may have to start Cabazetaxel soon and probably last two
Provenge
treatments will be cancelled. I hear Cabazetaxel has a little less side effects than Docetaxel, what is your experiences out there? my Dad tolerated it well but no having taste made him so depressed.

I've also had
Provenge
treatments last June. While my fight continues the treatments have put a burden on my body and mind. The medicine has taken its toll on me. Im no longer the man I once was but I'm still alive and thank God everyday for the blessings of another day.

Casodex vs Zytiga
PSA went up a little, switched to Extandi, had
Provenge
treatment. Also shots of Eligard. Then Zytiga. Rising PSA now. Has anyone gone back to Casodex. Doctor suggest Taxotere next, but I'm not keen on it. Weight 120 lbs. 72 years old

Post Docetaxel treatment plan
Next step we are awaiting support approvals for Xtandi (so expensive $$$$), Xgeva injection on the 29th, and
Provenge
hopefully in January. What are some experiences with those treatments Xtandi and Xgeva? my Dad is overwhelmed with all the literature of side effects.

Suggestions on next step of therapy
Provenge
is another option. Xofigo also, although my pain level is minimal. I've done genetic testing and no genetic issues were detected. I see my MO on the 23rd and want to be prepared with all the knowledge I can bring to the table. Any ideas or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Provenge Failed
Key Presenting questions: •Has anyone had experience with this type of
Provenge
failure? •I have seen clinical trials are being done in Europe to see the benefits of only one or two cycles of
Provenge
, any thoughts of the benefit of the one cycle which was successful?
