Being weaned off Doselupin (Prothiaden) as been found a link between medication and risk of heart disease. Anyone had a similar experience.

Then I found out that Nice recommend to take all patients off Prothiaden because of increased cardiac risk. I was actually prescribed something Nice and NHS don t recommend any more. I m on beta blockers now.. The first Atenolol helped in calming me down but caused severe nightmares.

Currently taking Bilovas(Ginko Biloba40mg) twice a day.. and Prothiaden 75mg(tricyclic antidepressants-dosulepin) once a day. Since my b12 supplements have stopped, I’m thinking to start them again. When spoke to doctor, he said since blood level are around 700 so need of that.

I've been on the same meds for years ,today wen I got my prescription I noticed the tablets were made by another company also a diffrent look and diffrent box , after taking the tablet ,few hours later was wake and sweaty , don't know if this is just me as I don't like change I take dosulepin now says prothiaden
