Hi everyone,

27old me, have tested with b12 deficiency (227 score) July last year, had 8 injections and then 2 months of sublingual. Have had 3 MRI includes one with contrast, all clear. It was concluded that having vegetarian diet.

At present,

Sever anxiety

Severe tinnitus (left side mainly)

Knee burning pain (sometime severe)

Fingers heaviness sometimes and sometimes involuntary movements of index finger

Foggy mind like I don’t know what happened 5 mins back

Do get worried about future a lot..!

Currently taking Bilovas(Ginko Biloba40mg) twice a day.. and Prothiaden 75mg(tricyclic antidepressants-dosulepin) once a day.

Since my b12 supplements have stopped, I’m thinking to start them again. When spoke to doctor, he said since blood level are around 700 so need of that.

Can anyone advise if I can take it along with above 2 tablets? Also, which form (injection, patch, sublingual etc..) should I take? Also, any other supplements like magnesium, omega 3 fatty acid tablets etc?

Is there a reason you stopped taking the b12? If you are having neuro symptoms you should definitely get the loading doses again until they stop improving and then stay on maintenance. Also, I have read up on antidepressants and b12 as I was given Cipralex for anxiety as mine was really bad and it seems those drugs tend to deplete b12 levels. Since my husband started his a year ago his b12 level fell from 333 to 220. It's not a bad idea taking some magnesium. I take a lower dose once in a while but I find Epsom salt baths work well when I feel I need the magnesium. Check your folate and iron levels while on the loading doses as well as I found mine to dwindle in the beginning and since I get 4 injections per week I stay on a low dose of folate and iron. Hope this helps:)

This is why people self inject. You have to go by symptoms and not your level. Doctors don't seem to understand that.
