Next step. Some advise please
Prostatectomy
(Da Vinci) in february 2017. Recurrence in December 2019 (psa:0.21 ng/ml). PET/PSMA GA68 show the prostate bed and one lymph node were illuminated. 28 session of radiation was given (august 2020) to the prostate area (61 Gy) and the dose increased (63 Gy) to the PSMA uptake area.

Survival after Radical Prostatectomy versus Radiation Therapy in High-Risk and Very High-Risk Prostate Cancer
Soundbite: ""
[i][u]Our data suggest that radical
holds a cancer-specific mortality advantage over external beam radiotherapy in Johns Hopkins very high risk patients."

What can members tell me about the success of electroporation and NanoKnife? The National Health Service in Britain is now using it.
It doesn't appear to have the debilitating side effects of radical
prostatectomy
surgery or radiation

Perioperative beta blockers and PC recurrence
Non-selective beta-blockers at time of radical
prostatectomy
was associated with a lower risk of recurrence. Frankly, sounds far-fetched to me: https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jamanetworkopen/fullarticle/2788446

Firmagon Vacation
Prostatectomy
, 40 radiation treatments and 7 months Lupron in 2015. Gleason was 4+3=7. PSA was undetectable until 2020. Crept up to 7.3. Nothing showed up on PSMA and Axumin scans. Have been on Firmagon for 4 months now. My PSA went down to 0.064 within one week.

Erection problems
Hi I’m 67 & had a

He declined radiation and

(to debulk the tumor) Research suggested he had a 23% shot at surviving 5 years. Drug side effects manageable.

PSMA scan changes treatment yet again
Planning
prostatectomy
. I went and had a PSMA scan which showed issue was supraclavicular lymph nodes and met on C1. Treatment swapped to Lu177. 2. After two Lu177 infusions second PSMA scan showed lymph nodes resolving but continued spread on spine.

Primary treatment for localized prostate cancer includes radical
prostatectomy
and radiation therapy. Metastatic prostate cancer is treated Androgen deprivation therapy (ADT), Androgen receptor inhibitors (ARIs), chemotherapy and radiation therapy.

External beam radiotherapy [EBRT] and radical prostatectomy [RP] are associated with better survival in Asian PCA patients
Additionally, Asian high-risk radical
prostatectomy
patients also showed lower cancer-specific mortality than white patients (hazard ratio 0.72, P = 0.04), but not Asian intermediate-risk radical
prostatectomy
patients (P = 0.08).

Salvage surgery seems to be no better than other salvage options re efficacy, and and inferior to salvage radiation re GU toxicity https://www.renalandurologynews.com/home/news/urology/prostate-cancer/salvage-radiation-vs-salvage-radical-
