Month 5 of ORGOVYX
After radical
prostatectomy
and radiation treatment, I’m now on ORGOVYX and my testosterone has decreased from 672 to 11. I’ll be coming off the medication in one month. If anyone has used ORGOVYX, do you stop cold turkey or is there a tapering off of the drug? Thank you.

Open or Robotic Prostatectomy
An open
prostatectomy
might give the surgeon a better view of the surgical field. Does anyone have any wisdom to lend me so I can make a choice between open or robotic

DRIPS AND DRIBBLES
Prostatectomy
in March 2020. Image guided radiation (39 treatments) one year ago. Lately, I began dribbling and dripping without warning. Where I used to be able to use one pad for three days, now I go through 3 pads per day! I gave up coffee and alcohol to see if the was the cause.

Newly Diagnosed
Is it possible to have a
Prostatectomy
with it being in the outer layer. I'm now struggling to get in touch with the people who gave me the news. Needless to say I'm very anxious. I have an appointment in 12 days time with a Doctor, I'm guessing they will talk me through the options.

Post Operation Erectile-dysfunction
Hello allI'm 12 weeks in post op since my successful robotic
prostatectomy
for prostate cancer. I'm recovering generally, very well. Incontinence is getting a lot better now. Down to using a small pad.

OH sudden increase in TSH 14 years after Radioactive iodine treatment
He had a
prostatectomy
last June and we had put the tiredness down to that. A recent blood test has put his TSH high - 6.4, before that ranged from 0.1 to 1.5 The doctor has put him on an increased dose of 125mg.

PSA still undetectable?
Prostatectomy
September 2022. PSA since op 0.01 latest PSA 0.03 Urologist states will check it again in 3 months rather then 6. 0.03 still very low but why the rise. Could the cause be micro prostate cancer cells hiding somewhere?

Abiraterone, Prednisone, Apalutamide combo Improves Prostate Cancer Outcomes, Leaves HRQoL Unaffected
Oncological outcomes improved with the addition of abiraterone acetate (Zytiga) plus prednisone (AAP) and apalutamide (Erleada) after radical
prostatectomy
and did not significantly affect health-related quality of life.

10-year update still shows no benefit to ART vs early SRT
ART
= adjuvant radiation therapy, within 6 months after radical
prostatectomy
(RP)
early SRT
= salvage radiation therapy, after PSA ≥ 0.1ng/ml or 3 consecutive rises. Median was 0.2 ng/ml. Median 1 ½ years after RP.

Please help us decide on next treatment
We met today with radiologist and oncologist and we were given 3 options: SBRT to the active parts of the prostate and the rib, HDR Brachytherapy to prostate and SBRT to rib or
Prostatectomy
surgery of prostate and SBRT to the rib. Please, please help us decide what treatment is best.

Rising PSA
I had a
prostatectomy
almost 3 years ago. My PSA has been undetectable (<0.01) for all that time. This week it was .02 I’m going to redo the test to make sure. Then my urologist wants to refer me to a radiation oncologist. Has anyone had any experience with this.

AUS revision surgery?
My background: I had a
prostatectomy
in 2016 and radiation a year later because the cancerous tumor had penetrated the sack. I have since had undetected PSA but have suffered with severe stress incontinence. I had AUS surgery in 2018 but it failed because of erosion.

Effect of Age on Treatment Outcomes
The opposite is true for radical
prostatectomy
(RP) treatment. Namely, the older you are, the worse the outcome is after RP. https://www.redjournal.org/article/S0360-3016(23)07930-0/fulltext
