Post EP Ablation
He put me on
Propafenone
and continue the Dilt. I had an unsuccessful cardio version late Mar23. I had an EP Ablation on 24April23. I had follow-up with Dr 3 weeks later. I was told to stop
Propafenone
& Diltiazam at that visit. I had 3 separate EKG's that show in normal sinus rhythm.

Heartburn-question for the forum
I have fairly well controlled PAF, current meds are
propafenone
, atenolol and Eliquis. I suffer from occasional heartburn (more than occasional if I do something stupid like have fried onion rings with dinner).

Pulse Field Ablation
Suggested I could continue with Multaq, or try stopping and see what happens, or switch to
Propafenone
. Anybody had any experiences with Multaq vs.
Propafenone
? I think until I get an ablation I will try and stay on an antiarrhythmic or? Confusing....

Stopping antiarrhythmics prior to ablation?
I've been told that I should stop my
propafenone
a few days prior to ablation. As I am getting breakthrough AF for an hour or so every few days whilst on the medication I was concerned about this plan, so the nurse I spoke with said that I could take the smallest amount I could manage with.

PROPAFENONE, anti arhythmia meds to counter the side effect of Acalabrutinib on the heart.
Has anyone been treated for arhythmia while being on Calquence - Acalabrutinib to avoid going to ER?

Has anyone with CLL on Acalabrutinib been prescribed Propafenone to counter highpertension and fast pulse?
I was given the option by the cardiologists I saw in ER for atrial fibrilation. for now, I take 2.5 mg of Sandoz Bisoprolol once a day. and had to half my Acalabrutinib dose.

A DNA test, a book and a diet - my AFib Eureka moment !
appointment with a cardiologist I started with a conservative approach (meds), monitoring and not to rushing into an ablation, but over the next year had quite a few long episodes lasting between 1 and 6 days, not too debilitating but none the less worrying I tried anti-arrhythmic drugs – Sotalol,

Feeling like in a turmoil
And I'm taking my meds regularly (bisprolol and
propafenone
). Waiting for an ablation date soon and also polysomnography (apnea) test soon. But I have a mix of bad symptoms throughout the day. From getting dizzy and sometimes fatigued, to feeling anxious, nervous and light headache.

Procedure for Morbidly Obese with AFIB
Up until I got Covid a year ago, I was very well controlled on
propafenone
plus Bystolic. I can always tell when I go into or out of AFIB and have an app on my phone that confirms this.

Update on my first EP visit & recomendation
Her main arguments are following -I'm relatively young (40) and ablation has the best outcome in younger patients who just got diagnosed with afib especially since I'm in paroxsysmal afib -the fact that my medications (bisprolol and
propafenone
) aren't working 100% of time for me is a good indicator

Confused on meds/ablation….again!
So back to EP and he said he would like to manage it so suggested change of meds (blurry Vision on flec) to
propafenone
which I am waiting for. In the meantime ran out so no meds for last 4 days and all about the same as when on them to be honest .

All Fun
I think this attack have been brewing for some time as pre today I've been knocking out over 2000 PACs per 24 hrs so this was on the cards Hopefully in 2023 I'll have a 2nd ablation but wanted to see how I get on with
Propafenone
first.

Anti-arithmetic meds with Paxil (Paroxetine) - an anxiety med.
Was just wondering if anyone is on or has tried Flecainide or
Propafenone
while also taking Paxil (Paroxetine)? If so, how did it work out? Side effects or health issues or none at all? Thank you for anyone who cares to reply!

Anti-Arithmetic meds while taking Paxil (Paroxetine) - an anxiety med.
Does anyone take Paxil (Paroxetine) with Flecainide or
Propafenone
? Both these AFIB meds work better for vagal AFIB. Was just wondering if anyone mixed these two drugs, and if it has worked out or not? Thank you for any and all replies!

Is it chest anxiety or something else?
Since then, I made a lot of changes to my lifestyle (no alcohol, mostly healthy diet, dropped 12kg of my weight, lowered my cholesterol substantially) and taking my meds everyday (bisoprolol and
propafenone
).

Third Ablation
I take
Propafenone
225 x 2 and Xarelto. I have a lot of abdominal discomfort that I don’t recall having from the last time. I will see my EP again in two weeks.

Anyone find anti arrythmic drug making afib worse?
He wanted me on a regular regiment so we switched and he wanted me to try
Propafenone
and Carvedilol twice a day to see if that would calm my afib so I could heal during blanking period. I continued to have afib but was having really bad PACs mainly at night.
