Amantadine
Hi, if you’ve had experience with taking Amantadine please share your information with me. I was doing well and had first appointment with MDS and she decreased my Rytary and took me off QUEtiapine Fumarate. I haven’t felt well since. Appreciate any feedback. Thank you.

Cystitis symptoms after surgery
Has anyone suffered cystitis symptoms or actual cystitis after laparoscopy? I had mine yesterday and the cystitis symptoms are getting even worse! I’m worried I might have contracted it when I had a catheter put in and out during surgery? Any advice? Thanks

RASAGILINE........PWP have you tried it with good results??
My Neurologist just prescribed, I am currently on 1 1/2 of 25/100 C/L 2x day and I was also on amantadine, but it was causing very bad back pain, so my neuro put me in RASAGILINE. But I am afraid to start it. Any advice would be much appreciated. 🙏🏽

High Prolactin and Parkinson’s disease
High prolactin (or hyperprolactinemia) is a relatively common endocrine problem, affecting roughly 90 women and 30 men out of 100,000. Women in the 25-35 age group have the highest risk to develop hyperprolactinemia. https://www.empoweryourhealth.org/magazine/vol11_issue1/high-prolactin-why-it-happens-and-when-to-treat

Creatine, StemEnhance, B1 Thiamine & Amantadine
I received a bonus container of “Pure Creatine” with a mail order, a couple months ago. I decided to go to the internet to see what it was used for and was surprised to see claims that some people feel it has been helpful for PwP. I use an electrolyte drink mix recommended by my primary care doctor.

How is PD connected to Restless Leg Syndrome?
Or is it? I had a mild degree of RLS for several years. It wasn't enough of a problem to warrant medical help. Over the past few months the restless leg has gotten worse. Coincidentally two years I was diagnosed with PD. I was on Sinemet for over a year. Stopped it and switched to amantadine

Whats the Carbidopa to be given with Mucana?? Mucana has been something we gave mom a few years ago , but that was before she had the fall which left her completely bed/wheelchair bound . Looking for people who have phased out Carbidopa/Levodopa in favor of an all-mucuna program
I was diagnosed in 2006, and have progressed through Requip, Sinemet, and Rytary, recently exploring mucuna in place of Rytary. My maximum dosage of Rytary was four capsules of 3.75/95 four times a day; I have gradually reduced my Rytary amount to three capsules in the morning, followed by 350 milligrams

Chronic UTI’s
Hi all. Just looking for a bit of advice and to see really if anyone is or has been in a similar position as myself. January 2019 - had the worst pelvic pain and pain passing urine. Went to GP and they said nothing to be worried about was just a UTI & gave me a course of antibiotics. Medication did

Urinary Retention 8 months post hysterectomy
Hi. On the 31st of October I had a total hysterectomy with ovarian conservation. Since then I experienced recurrent UTI symptoms. By the time I got to my 7th time my GP referred me to urology. I had a cystoscopy in which debris was found in my bladder. I started medications that just made things worse

My personal withdrawal from the inhibitor EGCG To add the inhibitor quercetin
I have four years used a GCG to complement my intake of natural sourced levodopa. I finally got tired of the slight nausea that occurs and decided to try a different type of inhibitor, quercetin. I have found a change beneficial. It is going very smoothly and I am sleeping better surprisingly I can sleep
