Cystitis symptoms after surgery

Has anyone suffered cystitis symptoms or actual cystitis after laparoscopy?

I had mine yesterday and the cystitis symptoms are getting even worse! I’m worried I might have contracted it when I had a catheter put in and out during surgery?

Any advice?

Hello! I hope your surgery went well 😊 I am two weeks post-op and I had the same symptoms after my op. One week after I took a urine sample to the doctors and I had a UTI. I took a course of antibiotics and am taking more samples in to check it’s passed properly. I hope that helps! 💛
