More Methadone?
I have had RLS for decades with real relief pretty well only from the now - forbidden
Pramipexole
. I have been on Methadone 15 mg at bedtime for about 2 years now which has been pretty good, allowing me approximately 5 hours of sleep some nights. Recently it has worked less well.

DAWS success story?
Hi all, After a brutal stop of
pramipexole
(extended release) two weeks ago, predated by a tapering off Venlafaxine from March to August, I'm experiencing the hell of DAWS (Dopamine Agonist Withdrawal Syndrom).

I was given
Pramipexole
by a Neurologist. I have been taking 180 microgram tablets three a night ( sometimes 4 a night) with mixed results for all those years. I have been unable to get
Pramipexole
for some time. My GP wrote to a Neurologist to ask what they would recommend instead.

iron infusions - how often and how many?
She is also on
Pramipexole
0.375 and Neurontin 1200 mg. While we are waiting for an appointment with a neurologist to discuss her augementation that she seems to be experiencing, can someone give feedback about iv iron. Do you need several infusions and how often?

Reducing pramipexole
., which I'm usually fine with.Is the reduction in
pramipexole
likely to be the reason for the increase in persistent and very aggressive rls. Any ideas?

Crohn's flare up and RLS
Im also trying to reduce
pramipexole
, but I can't cope with anymore withdrawal right now. I'm past myself. Arthritis also going mad, and fibromyalgia. Everything has been disrupted, by this Crohn's episode. I can't eat, nothing staying in my system. Can anyone suggest anything?

Iron and magnesium levels plus
Strangely enough, my RLS began to become a problem in 2017 and that's when I started
Pramipexole
, which I'm trying to come off now. With regard to that, I spoke with my pharmacist (after my nightmare reduction advice from GP!)

Oxycodone, Pramipexole and Codeine.
I was on 8 Codeine phosphate 30mg tablets a day and one
Pramipexole
0.52mg modified release tablets at night. Now I am on the oxycodone I do not take the codeine phosphate tab or the
Pramipexole
tablet. I cannot take the pramipexol and the oxycodone at the same time. It seems like an overdose.

Tingling
I’m taking
Pramipexole
and it’s about 40% effective. Have tried Gabopentin, Ropenipol to no avail. I’m pretty sure my lousy sleep patterns aggravate the tingling. I typically get 0-3 hours sleep a night. Thouhts??

think I’ve found my trigger.
Saw a dctr last year who just gave me sleeping tablets, saw a dctr a few weeks ago who gave me
pramipexole
but after reading on here and other sites about the side effects decided not to continue and try to manage it with supplements.

The Story Continues
I have successfully come off
Pramipexole
and have moved to Gabapentin. Despite experimenting with the dosage I have had little luck sleeping. In desperation last night I took some Cocodamol. Result: I slept for two hours and then five hours.

Hi again.
When I received the information from my gp surgery and read it I was astonished and fuming, while the information dated back a long time there was absolutely no information on RLS,nor
Pramipexole
which I had been prescribed for years.

advice please
It is so tempting to stay on
Pramipexole
as it’s working but worried about the long term, if I ask for Gabapentin is that Likely to work the same and are there any long term issues.

Replacing Pramipexole with Pregabalin
I was thinking that maybe a better option would be to slowly reduce
pramipexole
and introduce pregabalin over a month long time frame. Any comments or advice would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance for taking an interest.

Vortioxetine For depression
The others were all on
Pramipexole
AND gabapentin, leading me to think that thet are probably all suffering augmentation. Otherwise, why add gabapentin?

PLMD and coming off Pramipexole
I have decided to come off
Pramipexole
for my PLMD, suffering a lot from augmentation. I have read so many helpful posts and am so grateful to those wonderful people in this forum who are unfailingly ready to help.

Harlequin 88
She prescribed
Pramipexole
0.088 and the calming effect was instant. We both thought I was cured! However, augmentation kicked in and as I did not want a higher dose I decided to try Thermapulse.

Pramipexole withdrawal
My scenario, I've been on
pramipexole
for the last 3 months with constant dose of daily one 0.25mg tablet 2 hours before the bedtime. If I decide to stop, should I taper off by 1/4 of the tablet for 2 weeks 4 times or just stop it "cold turkey"? Thank you, all.
