Rheumatoid Factor?
As I now have a diagnosis of non-specific Interstitial
pneumonitis
(not pneumonia) and things I've read seem to mention autoimmune diseases I just wondered if anyone has any similar experiences or advice to offer? Sorry to go on x

Eating irritates my throat then I cough!
I'm being treated for my nonspecific interstitial
pneumonitis
(not pneumonia) but also have stuff for possible allergy and post nasal drip. I'm also on lanoprazole and ranitidine. ENT say I'm fine!

Hypersensitivity Pneumonitis?
However, reading on the symptoms of Acute Hypersensitivity
Pneumonitis
, many of my symptoms seem to match. Just wondered if anybody else out there who suffers from HP and would kindly share what your symptoms are like.

Bronchoscopy results
He tells me that there is some research that shows that Methotrexate can cause
pneumonitis
so he decides to carry out a bronchoscopy 6 weeks ago. Clinical Findings: Acute Inflammatory Process. Brocnchicial Washings show 65% Neutrophils, 20% leucocytes and 15% macrphages.

SUBGLOTTIC STENOSIS - this rare condition has been included on this site due to it's implication in gastric reflux syndrome*****.
Symptoms include the following: • Dyspnea (may be on exertion or with rest, depending on severity of stenosis) • Stridor • Hoarseness • Brassy cough • Recurrent
pneumonitis
• Cyanosis Many patients would have been diagnosed with asthma and recurrent bronchitis prior to discovery

Raising awareness of radiotherapy pneumonitis.
The doctors explained that this was a side effect named radiotherapy
pneumonitis
. In our case it was the treatment that took our loved one not the illness. I wanted to write this post to make people aware of this condition. I wish we had known more two months ago.
