Seretide and skin problem.
I took Seretide for about 20 years. During that period I developed a skin problem where the skin particularly on my hands became very dry and flaky to the extent that layers of skin would fall away and they would bleed when gripping things even fairly tightly. This could be painful. I was treated with

Puzzled - stepping up preventer medicine when symptoms come on so quickly
I was diagnosed at age 60 close to 6 years ago after a series of winter illnesses left me breathless and with a constant cough. My asthma was well controlled after a number of weeks on Clenil Modulite. Then a GP suggested I step down to 1 puff twice a day from 2. All was well until I got a chest infection

Clenil Modulite
Hi, thank you to all of you for helping me with my reaction to the above. Have seen GP this morning and now have a prescription for a new inhaler, I have to collect from pharmacy shortly, can't remember the name of the new one but fingers crossed. Still coughing and spluttering from my Clenil dose

Wet weather!
I am newly diagnosed but I just wondered if anyone else is reacting to this terrible UK weather?? I’ve been on Clenil modulite preventer twice a day for 2 weeks now & it seemed to have worked wonderfully at first, I went over a week without needing to use my Ventolin. The last few days have brought torrential

SYMBICORT INHALER
I too was put on Symbicort after being on Clenil Modulite. Over a period of time, my breathing went worse and I was told by my GP to increase the dose, little did I know then that this would only make me worse and I ended up in a terrible state fighting for breath. During this period I was given different

Clenil Modulite Inhaler
Is Clenil Modulite (Brown preventer) causing me more problems? Reason I ask is that I'm being told by my GP to puff once in morning and once in the evening. However since I started doing this I have had a severe deep tickle in my chest. I remember the same thing happened a few years ago so I stopped

Best asthma memory?
There’s always going to be a lot of negativity on forums like this and that’s totally fine because this is not a positive condition. We often hear about people’s terrible experiences with meds, doctors that don’t understand, etc. etc. But what’s everyone’s most positive asthma memory? For me, it’s Christmas

Stopping clenil modulite
Hi, I have had nosebleeds which is something that I've never had before and a depressed feeling. I'm cutting down and stopping Clenil over the next week, also looking for a natural remedy although I feel ok and I have my blue inhaler for those cold days. Blue inhaler is the thing I used for years by

4 year old with suspected Asthma
Have been following the forum with great interest so hoping that I could get some advice for my 4 year old son. He was first diagnosed with viral-induced wheeze back in February of this year after being admitted to paediatric A&E. He was given a Salbutamol inhaler and a course of prednisolone. We thought
