Recovery after bypass
I was referred back to my cardiologist which resulted in my having a cardiac
perfusion
MRI. I was relieved to receive a very positive report which concluded that I had a normal MRI with no evidence of cardiomyopathy or ongoing ischaemia.

Microvascular angina? Is it worth getting a second opinion?
I've had the following tests - Exercise CT scan; CT Coronory angiogram; Myocardial
perfusion
scan; and most recently a whole chest CT scan. All have proved negative. I have been discharged back to my GP.

Myocardial Perfusion
My husband has had the above test done today and on way home it has brought on his angina symptoms terrible. He thinks it’s due to the fatty food he had to eat for it. He is getting bad chest pains and down arm and in neck. Has anyone else had this after this test?

Pre Angiogram Symptoms
After having two
perfusion
scans last month I've had a letter from the hospital today to say I need to have an angiogram as there is a possible problem with the blood supply to my heart.

Chemotherapy side effects
I'm due for my second
perfusion
of Cisplatin and Alimta (for stage IIa Non-small) this coming Monday. I suppose I will be able to discuss this with the nurses but it's hard to know who to talk to as everyone is in such a rush all the time.

Fatigue and breathless

Breathlessness
My GP has just signed me off for 2 weeks as am awaiting a
perfusion
test. Does anyone else experience these feelings. Am feeling guilty that I'm not at work as we are already short staffed but the nursery isn't helping the breathlessness. Any advice would be great. Thanks.

QE Birmingham Liver transplant news.
One of the items of discussion, involved the new liver transplant
perfusion
machine which was licensed for use back in January of this year. It has since been realised that although this machine is a wonderful piece or kit, it does apparently put a strain the blood bank resources.
