I know a lot of time has passed ( a few months) I just wanted to tell you all that I did not have my Myo cardio perfusion test as the nurse could see I was very worried about it ( after pains following a stent procedure) . I had a ultra sound stress test which the Consultant deemed acceptable and said that while i had ectopic beats, he didn't see any cause as the pains I felt were not bad ( I just had some mild discomfort. Thanks to everyone who tried to soothe my anxieties over this and I hope I didn't disappoint by not having it done. However, I slightly regret this path, after a period of time relatively ok .. I am now suffering similar slightly worse pains when exercising . ( light gym work bike , walking etc) Sometimes I get a sore throat going in to the jaw but without the chest pain (weird) and sometimes a tightness in the chest that always subsides after I stop . Now also I am experiencing low level palpitations and a need to take a deep nasal breath on many occasions. Just wondered if anyone out there has any ideas on what any of these symptoms could be. If you got to this point in reading my email many many thanks indeed.
Kind regards
Stan

search you tube for ideos by Dr. Sanjay Gupta, he is a cardiologist who has many good short lessons on the subject of heart palpitations, ectopic beats etc. he presents in clear language and is very reassuring.
Thanks for the video . It did reassure me to a certain extent but I am worried that I have AF which my Uncle eventually died from. Every time I get an attack off seemingly endless ectoptic s , and go to the doctors the palpitations and ectoptics seem to go. My Doctors are convinced I am just paranoid and I know why but still feel there is a problem. Thanks though I see what your saying but I guess I must wait for the next bout of possible AF to get it checked out???
I have had 2 Myocardial perfusion scans, they really are nothing to worry about, least invasive procedures that I’ve had. Maybe time to talk to your Cardiologist again ?
