Hello Again
Just received a letter from Cardiologist/ GP with follow up to Holter Monitor, they sent me all the results which didn't mean very much to me, now letter explains more !!.
This gentleman was seen in my Clinic recently with a History of palpitations and breathlessness. As you know he has previously had CABG in 2015 with LIMA to the diagonal branch of his LAD. His Mid LAD was stented in March 2018, and we know his Right Coronary Territory is non viable An Echocardiogram confirmed LV impairment with an Ejection Fraction of 40 % Recent Holter Monitor reveals Very Frequent Polymorphic Ventricular Ectopics and a total burden of VEs of 6.9 % of total beats. Furthermore there are several episodes of Bigeminy and Trigeminy which relate to his shortness of Breath and Palpitations.
His last MRI scan done prior to his LAD intervention in March did reveal 3 segments of Ischemia. ( I like the next bit ) I will personally see this gentleman in my Clinic with the results of his repeat Stress MRI in the meantime, we ought to continue with Maximum doses of Bisoprolol and Entresto for his Heart Failure.
I think that is pretty positive, but don't quite understand Revealed 3 segments of Ischemia would the stents have treated that issue ?? One thing now I don't fret over anything they want to do anymore, because I think I have been through most of it Myocardial Perfusion Scan, Stress MRI, Various Angiograms, CABG, Stents through the By pass, Echocardiograms and of course maximum Medication, but it's very rare I feel Ill OK discomfort with some of the Ectopic episodes and Breathlessness but not ill hope that makes sense
Best Regards
