Apixaban adverse side effects. Advice please.
I have had Paroxysmal AF for approx five years, an episode of which will last anything from 1-7 minutes. This might happen once daily, perhaps 4-5 times a week. I usually control it successfully with deep breathing. For the duration of my affliction, I have been taking Eliquis Apixaban as an anticoagulant

4 weeks post ablation, heartburn, zero energy, unable to climb stairs
I had a cryo ablation four weeks ago, the procedure went very well, I did go back into Afib a few days later, but converted back to sinus, I understood that can occur, I had no issue with my groin and a slight tightness in chest. Roll on another few weeks and now I have zero energy, I cannot walk up

Branded Apixaban V generic Apixaban
Well, something strange is happening.I have been bruising on my legs for the the last month or so and my bloods are ok with recent tests. I read an article on how generic brands of drugs can be absorbed by the body differently to the branded version. I questioned my pharmacist who had said it's unusual

Eliquis and colonoscopy
I had a colonoscopy Monday and the only bad part was the prep, now waiting to hear back re the polyps they removed. I stopped the Eliquis on Saturday as directed. They administered the sedation thru the back of my hand instead of in my arm and now it is horribly black and blue bruised. Is this because

A-Fid
5 years ago I was rushed to hospital with 100 lbs of fuild in my chest, around my lungs, heart, stomach and just rest all over me. I was diagnosed with A Fid. I am on Eliquis, beta blockers, lasix. In 5 years never had another episode. Could have been the fluid?

Side Effects from Metoprolol 25mg
I am taking Metoprolol 25mg halved twice a day for AFib and having side effects of almost passing out or a weird feeling of like I would be passing out which has happened twice now. I'm taking it with Eliquis. Is anyone else having this symptom?

post cardioversion
Hi, I was diagnosed with Afib after suffering a TIA in April 2021. Amioderone and xarelto controlled it until after 6 months amioderone caused my thyroid to quadruple. So stopped amioderone. After xarelto resulted in an internal hip bleed was switched to Eliquis. Had an ablation Jan 2023 so still

Experiencing higher sleeping HRV after stopping Flecainide
I had a cryoboalloon ablation the end of January and was kept on 2x 50mg Flecainide during the blanking period. I had no AF during the blanking period and wore a Zio patch for 7 days just before the 3 months was over. At the appointment the APRN said my Zio came back clean, with no AF, very few ectopic

Heartburn-question for the forum
I have fairly well controlled PAF, current meds are propafenone, atenolol and Eliquis. I suffer from occasional heartburn (more than occasional if I do something stupid like have fried onion rings with dinner). If I have heartburn come bedtime, no matter how many Gelusil I might consume, it's almost

How I got my diagnosis
Just a bit more about how I was finally diagnosed with paroxysmal AF. I never felt that I’d got back to “normal” after the shingles with increasing fatigue when my daughter invited me to join her at Bath Spa for her birthday as I’d been with my husband for my birthday some years before and really enjoyed

when a tablet is not THE tablet
Before I tell My story I just want to make the point that I am sensitive to all Meds. I was diagnosed with Perm. Afib 5 years ago and tried on several Anticoags. before settling with Eliquis (apixaban) as the one I could tolerate. I have taken Eliquis for the last 5 years without any issues. In January

Issue when reverting back to NSR

Over the years I had an on / off battle with "an irregular heartbeat" and I think most drugs were tried. But it seemed to become less of a problem as
