price of Eliquis versus Edoxaban
the Eliquis is costing me $ 140 each month. I’m just wondering if Edoxaban is cheaper?

Eliquis/Apixaban and rectal bleeding
1. I've been on Eliquis for about three weeks. I've had 3-4 episodes of rectal bleeding, usually two or three days apart. I think maybe it's just some hemorrhoids "encouraged" by the Eliquis. I'm seeing my GI in three days, so I'll know more then. What has been your experience with Eliquis? 2.

Cardiac Ablation Looks Successful!
I was diagnosed with Paroxysmal Afib in April of 2022. During my annual physical my PCP heard what he thought was a murmur, and called in a consult. After testing the afib was confirmed. I never noticed it, but started monitoring with a smartwatch and began to feel the episodes as they progressed. This

1 week post ablation
Hi! I was diagnosed with AFib several years ago as well as atrial flutter, and PVCs . I have been on a number of meds and most recently took Flecainide 50 mg 2xday, metoprolol 12.5mg 1xday and Eliquis 2xday. I had an ablation gone 8 days ago and my EP said I could immediately drop my Flecainide

If you're taking Eliquis
The co-pay for 1 month's supply with my Medicare Advantage plan is about $165. I can get the generic apixaban from a Canadian pharmacy for less than half that. My cardiologist approved it.

Should I live with it?
I am 60 years old and diagnosed with persistent Afib this past November. Probably had it more than a year prior as it is asymptomatic being the type with irregular rhythm with my resting heart rate at 50-60 bpm. Went on Eliquis and have been cardioverted three times- first with no meds and NSF only

Phenomenon
I am "visiting" from the Afib forum because I found that the primary trigger for my Afib was trapped gas and bloating, associated with constipation and eating the wrong foods. I found that I have celiac disease and have made adjustments to diet and eliminated constipation, among other changes, and

Working out after AFIB
I saw my EP for a 90 day check up post ablation a few weeks ago. One of my questions was when can I resume more intense cardio workouts? I'm back to weight training, yoga, walking and rowing (on machine), but am nervous about getting my heart rate too high. My history: 3 (that I knew of) episodes

watchman
My EP recommended I think about getting the watchman device . I’m currently on Eliquis and have had no problems with it. His thoughts are as I’m getting older the falling risk increases as is the risk of breaking a hip. He explained that the device is safer than risking a major bleed in the event of

I was thinking of the best way to celebrate my eight month anniversary since my WMM (Wolf Mini Maze) in Tokyo by Dr Ohtsuka at the NewHeart Watanabe Hospital. I am still in NSR (normal sinus rhythm) and my divorce from AFib is finalised. As our friend Jim knows, I went a little mad (as you do) when

It's not the adrenals it’s AF!
I kept thinking it was because of my tapering: I was short of breath, felt “chesty” and dizzy. The monitor I wore showed <1% incidence of AF but still at risk for stroke- so Eliquis for me. Scheduled for a visit to the electrophysiology lab for assessment. I believe it’s getting more frequent. Stopped

Apixaban adverse side effects. Advice please.
I have had Paroxysmal AF for approx five years, an episode of which will last anything from 1-7 minutes. This might happen once daily, perhaps 4-5 times a week. I usually control it successfully with deep breathing. For the duration of my affliction, I have been taking Eliquis Apixaban as an anticoagulant

I had an ablation a few weeks ago, I'm doing ok, except for the fatigue, shortness of breath and cough. I am in sinus. I believe the above issues are related to Metoprolol I take 25mg x 2 daily, Flecainaide 50mg 2 daily and 5mg Eliquis 2 daily. I have my follow up appt next week with my EP. I'm really

4 weeks post ablation, heartburn, zero energy, unable to climb stairs
I had a cryo ablation four weeks ago, the procedure went very well, I did go back into Afib a few days later, but converted back to sinus, I understood that can occur, I had no issue with my groin and a slight tightness in chest. Roll on another few weeks and now I have zero energy, I cannot walk up
