Cardioversion
My consultant is recommending cardioversion as the next step in my AF treatment, primarily in order that I can stop taking bisoprolol as this appears to be impacting on my asthma. Has anyone experience of this procedure, success rates, issues with it etc?

Hi, in February I had a pain in my breast after exercising, on self examination i found a large lump. I thought maybe it was inflamation , after a week there was no improvement and at this point i put it down to a previous cyst re-filling. When I finally got through to the doctors, I was fast to the

hi all. We have a sicky bug circulating in our house, which has affected our visiting family too. Just wanted to get some of you folks opinion on something. I started my Afib journey back in 1999 and after countless Cardioversions, homeopathic regimens, anti-arrythmia drug regimens, lifestyle changes nothing has worked until recently when my doctor put me on 200mgs a day of Amiodarone. Ablation in March, discharged in August
I am very appreciative of the support provided by this forum. I appear to be one of the lucky ones in that I had my ablation back in March at Bournemouth Hospital and it went well with a quick recovery. I have had no Afib episodes since, I was put on a 7 day monitor back in June which showed nothing

Just diagnosed AFib
Hi, I am reaching out to you because I was just diagnosed with A Fib as well as an irregular heart beat and prescribed Apixaban (and Metroprolol to use if my heart goes out of control -it has a couple of times). Can anyone tell me if I should have any concerns about Apixaban. What I can expect.

Flecainide - Timings?
I’m on 100mg of Flecainide, 50mg twice a day, no beta blockers. My afib is of a paroxysmal nature and each episode lasts usually no more than an hour or so, sometimes minutes. It is however very intense and uncomfortable! I can usually self terminate by exercise or various vagal manoeuvres. I have

Can You Damage Your Ablation Work By Over-Exertion After 5 Months?
I had a Cyro Ablation on March 16 of this year so it has been 5 months. (Today is August 19.) On April 13, I was taken off Flecainide and then put on a two-week Zio monitor on June 30 to see how effective the ablation was at least at that point. On June 23 I had one Afib episode lasting about 4 hours

Hello all. My father got diagnosed in Oct. 2019. His case has been summarized in the profile. He's castration sensitive. After some readings, I'm not sure if the decision to switch from Bicalutamide to Enzalutamide is the right decision. Should he stay with Bicalutamide? Should he take Trelstar shot

Just prescribed Meloxicam by my GP for joint pain and headaches.
I take Eliquis and Amiodarone for my Afib and was wondering if anyone on here has taken Meloxicam while being treated for Afib. I've read a lot of conflicting feedback concerning the success/drawbacks of NSAIDs for people currently on an Afib regimen. Thanks for reading.

Anyone find anti arrythmic drug making afib worse?
I had an ablation July 18. I started having afib episodes a couple days later and doc gave me metrolpolol and flecainaide as PIP. They made me feel dizzy and I didn't tolerate real well but they did make the episode stop at the time. He wanted me on a regular regiment so we switched and he wanted

Bone Scan advice
Hello all, just a quick query . I've been on pred since the beginning of March , currently 12.5mg. I'm on Alendronic Acid too. I have been on Letrozole since my Mastectomy in June 2019. I had a bone scan then which is standard when starting something like Letrozole as it increases osteoporosis risk.

Ectopics and Digestive Difficulties
I have been dealing with diarrhea recently which I think is being causing by a Turmeric/Curcumin supplement I started taking. My ectopic heartbeats, probably mostly Premature Atrial Contractions (PACs), have started to flare up again. So I stopped taking the Turmeric/Curcumin supplement. Two years ago
