Failed ablations
Just to ask people who got two, three even four ablations and still in Afib, did you ask your ep why it failed? Why do you keep seeing the same ep and keep doing the same thing over and over again knowing it will fail. There is out there many very skilled ep who got thousands of ablations under their

update on the ecg I posted 2 weeks ago!
so was at cardiologist today for my 3 month post ablation follow up for AF. He’s thinking there is a good chance the AF has gone. I showed him the ecg traces from my Apple Watch which some of you had suggested bigeminy PVCs and that’s exactly what they are. He has me on a 24 hour monitor just now to

changing med for Afib
I was having a lot of lightheadedness and dizziness so my doctor Put me on only one atenolol pill and left me on 2 Flecainide and also took me off of my blood pressure pill. This Seem to be a change as I have been on a blood pressure pill for many many years. I will let you know how it turns out.

Taking Flecainide even when in Permanent Afib
Am in permanent Afib since feb 2021 and after taking my second dose of pfizer vaccine. Am on 2X90 mg Dilzem and 2,5 mg Nebilt/day. MY HR is 70-73 BPM 38% of the time, 66-69 BPM 33% of the time, 74-79 BPM 19% of the time and 62-65 BPM 2% of the time. To improve these results , I suggested to stop Nebilet

Just received the full copy of my blood test where I can see my TSI
My TSI is 1.20 (0.00 - 2.00) Does it mean that I ddi not have Graves and RAI is not right treatment for me? Thank you very much for your opinions.

Is this controlled?
I'm 53 with no heart disease and have been on daily flecanide (100mg x3 daily - I'm 6'6" and 16 stone hence the large dose) and 2.5mg of bisoporol. I get an AFib break through almost everyday, normally if I am late taking my flecanide. However the incidents are very low level - 80-90 bpm, mildly irregular

Stopping Sotalol suddenly
I had my first episode of AF last December and I think I have had one since which lasted a couple of hours but by the time I could get it checked I was back in sinus rhythm. Bisoprolol didn't suit me so I was put on 40mg Sotalol twice a day. However my blood pressure and heart rate is quite low so

Amiodarone
My EP is suggesting that I try amiodarone. My history is of 3 ablations, 2016, 2018, 2020. Last one finally touched up the scars that had “failed” - so the afib seems to be gone. But they couldn’t trigger my tachycardia during the ablation. And annoyingly, the tachycardia is much more frequent (daily

Faslodex/Fulvestrant update
For those being offered or starting this protocol - here’s an update. I know when I joined this group - it meant a lot to get information and experiences. Faslodex is my second line treatment- after Ibrance, Femara & zoladex. I’ve been feeling well on Faslodex - still going about my daily routine and

Eight and a half weeks post ablation
Thanks for all the well wishers after my cryo-ablation at Stoke. The first 3 days were fine with just a few palpitations. The next two weeks were a nightmare with 5 visits to Burton Queen's A & E with heart rates varying between 170 and 75. Increasing volumes of Bisoprolol and then Sotalol were prescribed

PVCs post cardioversion
Been in hospital since I left home after a cardioversion that put me in nsr but with multiple PVCs and going in and out of Afib which resulted in me being taken by ambulance with fluid overload on lungs and heart. Still in on a monitor and waiting on next move as don’t feel good like this. On dronederone

A question about angiogram/ablation
I have had AF for at least 15 years, controlled by bisoprolol and increasing doses of flecainide. For reasons not quite clear to me I'm now booked in for an angiogram. My GP followed it up and tells me it's because I said I'd think about an ablation. It's hard to know who said what when all appointments

Early Stage or In Situ and MBC recurrence
I was diagnosed in situ 7 years ago. I opened for a Mastectomy and reconstruction as my dr said recurrence rate is less than 2 % as opposed to lumpectomy with radiation and approximately 13% recurrence. Seemed like a no brainer to me at 59. They found clusters of cancer cells in one lymph node. Removed

Are you relatively happy with your implant reconstruction after bilateral mastectomy?
Having surgery in a few weeks and worried about how I will look after reconstruction.

Returning to Sinus with Exercise?
I was diagnosed with paroxysmal AFib in May 2021 which is being managed by meds (Flec + AC) and I continue to have intermittent episodes lasting between 1 day and 5 days. At the beginning of June this year, I was given permission to return to the gym. I'm 60, male, non-smoker, non-drinker, 68kg, 3

Anyone else hit 250bpm+ at rest in Afib?
I had a thought earlier while discussing some of my health issues with my husband - I've posted quite a lot on here, and discussed how my heart hits 200+bpm and I've even recorded it a few times ranging from 250-300bpm during my episodes and I have not seen anyone else post similar. I need to go to

Afib heat laser Ablation
Here's a quick back round. 61 years old. Have had Afib off and on for 25+ years. So after countless Cardioversions, numerous Homeopathic regimens and a try of SotaloI (which was the worst by the way). I always ended up back in Afib along with the terrible quality of life that goes with it within days
