Pacemaker implant - Week 3
Before the meeting I called in at the Cardio dept and managed to get myself an appointment next week for a proper
pacemaker
check (see Post Week 2).

Resting heart rate 47-54 with constant dizziness
I am struggling with this and wonder if a
pacemaker
would help alleviate this problem, or could it be something else? Had a brain scan and blood work all looks normal, but dizziness persists. Thanks so much.

Pacemaker 😩
GP referring me back to cardiologist and says I may need
pacemaker
fitted sooner than expected. I’m OK (ish!) about this but I really want to be able to continue running. Any advice from anyone in the know please? Thank you 🙏🏻

Electical impulses
Hi everyone I had a
pacemaker
fitted 6 weeks ago closely followed by a SV ablation. Recovery took a little while but no problem with the pm. Yesterday I had 3 or 4 incidences of little shock waves round my heart, a kind of tingly feeling. Has anyone else experienced this sensation?

Pacemaker implant - Week 2
It is two weeks today since the
pacemaker
was fitted in Bristol. Well, I certainly feel a lot better than I did last week. Still extremely tired though, and really feeling that I am still recovering.

Bradycardia with Pauses
My cardiologist is recommending a
pacemaker
, as I've had two 5 sec. pause episodes in the past 30 days. My resting heart rate is typically in the low 50's, but lately it has been as low as 45-47 on a consistent basis. Without treatment will this trend continue.

Pause episodes
I have no symptoms, so I think they are not certain i need a
pacemaker
. Has anyone experienced this and what was the end result?

LOVE THY SELF
Now i have a

. Still get those anxiety attacks but on a lower scale. I've learned to cope with anxiety. Lifes ups and downs (more downs than ups for me) have lead me to understand that, thats the way life is.

Had a pre-op blood panel taken before having my

replaced. It showed potassium and magnesium deficiencies.

Pacemaker one week on
It is now a week since the PM was implanted. Somehow I had the idea that it would be a simple procedure which I would quickly recover from, but that has not been my experience. I have had 5 ablations so I know how it feels after that, but this week has been a complete surprise to me. There is the

2nd opinions are worth it!
(So far they have been hitting high 30s again, along with a jolt every so often if it drops too low which is unsettling) If this happens when implant is in then he feels they will have to put in a
pacemaker
to work alongside the rate reducing medication which I need.

was inserted and I'm due for an interrogation in three weeks.

Pacemaker finally in
Well I finally had the
pacemaker
implanted yesterday. It was not as straightforward as I had anticipated as the cardio could not get the wires into the right place because of scar tissue from my previous ablations.

Pacemaker Recovery
I have had
pacemaker
fitted after collapsing, went to doctor previously with exhaustion and swollen legs and feet, also overweight so he suggested gym. Still feeling exhausted and although back at work not coping very well, will this get better over time.
