Possibility of the start of heart failure
I ended up back in A&E yesterday , I’d had a lot of pain by my
pacemaker
so I called 111 for advice , they said a GP would call me a bit later and I should call back if I felt worse, I had a bit of chest pain so I called back and they sent an ambulance .

3 months after 3rd ablation 😘
So nothing simple, my low heart rate (40/45bpm.)is causing lots of horrible eptopics and generally unwell so there is talk of a
pacemaker
.

Single lead pacemaker
I have a
pacemaker
with single atrial lead. RV lead was removed after 2 perforations. Last week I collapsed but nothing showed on pm check. Just thought could this be a problem with right ventricle that is no longer being paced?

Catheter Abalation
They found what it was but it was too close to the av node so couldn’t abalate the area at risk of damaging node and needing a
pacemaker
. After 5 1/2 hours of surgery it was a little disheartening. Has anyone experienced this and now the the possible next steps are?

Getting My Driving Licence Back!
I am 86 - and I had a heart attack and a
Pacemaker
fitted just over 3 months ago. I advised the DVLA who then revoked my driving licence saying "your symptoms are not yet satisfactorily controlled".

Pace maker
Hi I have just been told, out of the blue, that I am in for a
pacemaker
on 28 th May. Am terrified, not really sure what has prompted this. Need to comprise a list of questions to ask consultant when/if he/she rings me. All ideas gratefully accepted.

I have a small amount of paroxysmal AF (controlled mainly with Sotolol) and mild heart failure and a CRT
pacemaker
. I take Atorvastatin, Sotolol, Sacubutril/Valsartan, Rivaroxaban and Allopurinol. Any ideas for controlling my cold symptoms?

CRT Pacemaker Lead "loose"
Had a call from the
Pacemaker
guys. They have been monitoring my dual lead CRT
pacemaker
performance over the last few weeks and are concerned about the performance of one of the leads. The person I talked to was obviously trying to keep me calm whilst trying to explain a very complex situation.

AF and 50% Heart Failure
I think Possibly a second ablation or I think a
Pacemaker
might be a better permanent option ? If anyone has had a
pacemaker
fitted for AF and heart failure I would love to hear you views on the subject

Feeling breathless after pacemaker was fitted
Is it normal to get moments of being breathless after the fitting of a
pacemaker
? I had the operation last week and feel breathless walking upstairs or up an incline? Has anyone else experienced this and will it settle down?

Have I made a mistake
Hi - I just recently had a
Pacemaker
fitted and am wondering if I should have taken the option of monitoring first. 18 Months ago I had a cluster of syncope episodes over 10 hours where my heart rate dropped and I lost consciousness.

Online event - "Healing Hearts & Minds: Psychologically Informed Medicine" with Dr Liza Morton
She has lived experience of CHD, having been fitted with a
pacemaker
at 11 days old. Should be an interesting and useful session, I think. Link for (free) tickets - https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/healing-hearts-minds-psychologically-informed-medicine-dr-liza-morton-tickets-150891641963?
