Cordless Razors
Hi Folks, I received my
pacemaker
last week. After a couple of days I decided to shave. I use a Braun series 7 cordless rechargeable razor. As soon as I turned it on and started to shave my
pacemaker
went mad. I spoke with my EP who said not to use it any more.

Supplements for arthritis and rivaoxaban
Hi all My husband has paroxysmal AF and a
pacemaker
takes digoxin and Rivaoxaban. He has slight arthritis in both knees(too much playing hockey in his younger days!) and not bad enough to take painkillers all the time. Bothers him the most after sitting for a while and then moving again.

Any experience of a Florida Cardiologist
After telling my son I have been advised to have a
pacemaker
he began searching on the Web for information and came up with the name of a cardiologist Dr Pradip Jamnadas who advocates intermittent fasting to cure atrial fibrillation. Has anyone here heard of this method?

I have a history of total collapse and this has continued after having a
pacemaker
fitted so i now havr an ILR as well. I used the device yesterday because i felt lightheaded (not dizzy), was short of breath and had intermittent nausea, which lasted a few hours.

Left sided breast pain . Costochondritis or heart ?
I have a
pacemaker
on my left side so I don’t know if it’s caused by costo or if it’s from my
pacemaker
. At times the pain feels as if it’s from my heart , it shoots up from below my breast and feels quite deep inside behind breast and goes to heart area .

Pacemakers and Detection of AF
After a few extended periods of arrhythmia while in Spain recently the first thing I did on my return was to send a download of my
pacemaker
to the arrhythmia nurses at the BHI.

My First Pacemaker Followup
Today was my first real follow up with my EP since the fitting of my
pacemaker
and AV node ablation done on February 13 and 27th. I have not been feeling 100% although much much better than before all of this.

Digoxin Advice
I am on a few different drugs including bisoprolil/perindipril & Apixaban for dilated cardiomyopathy and then I got AF, a cardioversion didnt work and the cardiologist said I was heading for a
pacemaker
but he wanted to try Digoxin which has worked great for years.

Long Term Bisoprolol and effects
Just wondering the other day what my resting heart rate was before I started taking the Bisoprolol and if you ever stop taking the drug is there any long term effects in terms of modifying your natural
pacemaker
. I started on 5mg in 2012 and kept on that for 6 years at least.

Af Ablation
I am currently 20% paced with a dual
pacemaker
. Due to have an AF Ablation soon. I have come across someone saying that after the procedure we will be 100% paced however I can't seem to find any literature on this anywhere. Would appreciate if anyone can explain this. Thankyou

Knowledge Isn't Enough
Now, I couldn't take any stimulants anyway because the chemo attacked my heart, and I have heart failure with a
pacemaker
/defibrillator. That should give you enough background, but feel free to ask. Well, of course I still have ADHD!

dbs and massage chairs
THis might sound trival but I cannot find a good full massage chair which is
pacemaker
/DBS friendly. They all exclude people with these devices. Same goes for vibration plates. I get it, they both emit electromagnetic fields. So does my microwave and phone.
