Is it usual for period bleeding to continue past the normal 7 days please?
Been taking
ovranette
for plus 20 years. I take 3 packs then break. Last period I spotted for a full month before it stopped. This time normal period should have stopped a week ago but still bleeding.

Perimenopause & LUPUS
I have been recently diagnosed with LUPUS and I currently take the contraceptive pill (
Ovranette
) to help ease my premenopausal symptoms. I have also been prescribed HCQ since April. The question is, does the pill cause LUPUS flare ups and is it better for me to stop the pill?

Perfect periods to misery in 1 year. Will I be taken seriously?
Could it be that
Ovranette
had been holding Endo back all those years? Will Gynae take me seriously, as my symptoms are still kinda new?

Running out of treatment options, please help me
I’m already diagnosed with endo and treatment wise I’ve had: 3 x laparoscopy - one diagnostic, unable to remove endo as on ureters, x2 excision. 1 x round zoladex (hell) progesterone only pill (multiple types)
Ovranette
Contraceptive pill (other types which I can’t remember the name of) Mirena coil

Deciding when to try and conceive?
I came off
Ovranette
once and it took me 8 months to get my natural period back, after which I immediately started again due to the crippling pain levels.

Is it endometriosis
They tried me on a bunch of painkillers including codeine (and recently dihydrocodeine) and by 15 I was on
Ovranette
, then Dianette when my skin went crazy and then Yasmin when my moods declined.

Urgent contraception advice!!
I was recently prescribed on
Ovranette
, and I took my first pill on the first day of my period. When I was prescribed however, I was told to take a four day break instead of a 7 day break? Which is slightly confusing considering the leaflet in the pack and information online say a 7 day break...

Ovranette... No period
Hi all, I've been on contraceptive pills since I was 14 for heavy and painful periods (I am now 21) and have been on
ovranette
for 5 years. I'm very thorough with taking the pill and have very rarely ever missed one.

Bin your Pill
Progesterone only pills (Cerazette and Noriday) made me bleed continuously for the whole time I was taking them and Combination pills (
Ovranette
and Yasmin) made me pee all the time, and there are a whole host of strange side effects to the pill.

21 days of bleeding and more
So as the subject suggests I have been taking the combined pill,
Ovranette
for 21 days and have been bleeding since day 1, my 7 day break starts tomorrow which is when I'm meant to have a period.

From scared to angry- and everything between
So I took it home, took one, but then decided to check it against the
Ovranette
just in case. You can imagine my anger when I see that it is the same chemicals in the same amounts as
Ovranette
. It is essentially the same tablet made by a different company.

Could I be pregnant? (It'd be a miracle!)
I've been taking
Ovranette
for about 6 months to help with heavy unomfortable periods I experienced after stopping another contraceptive pill. I occasionally forget to take one pill but have never skipped more than two.
