Orgovyx

Currently on darolutamide and Orgovyx + Osterine 10mg/day. I stopped Carderine for now to see if my next lipid profile goes from good to bad. Just wanted to see if carderine was responsible for my improvements from previous numbers.

He has early stages of heart failure and the doctor wants him on Orgovyx due to fewer cardiac effects. Our insurance has denied us. We have Blue Cross Blue Shield through the Exchange. Thankfully his urologist has given him “sample” bottles and he has been on it for a week now.

I was having a debate with a friend who believes that once you go castrate resistant while on Orgovyx, you will never reverse that without second generation meds, or any further treatment like radiation, chemo, or Pluvicto. This is assuming the prostrate had been surgically removed.

My healthcare provider indicated they wouldn't prescribe Orgovyx and to use Lupron instead. Has anyone dealt with this? Are there ways to get the meds cheaper from Canada or elsewhere? Any insight would be great.

My PSA is increasing once again beyond the detectable level. 9 years ago had RPT. 6 years ago had follow up PBRT only upon a detectable psa rise. See history in profile. My recent PSA is at 0.364. I have a PSMA PET scan scheduled at UCSF in April. Should the scan show metastasis in the pelvic

I am just starting Orgovyx and it's working well.... too well as far as ED is concerned. I had no significant issues prior to ADT with achieving an erection and orgasm.

The Firmagon is an antagonist and the same mode of action as Orgovyx.   That makes me lean toward it as a shot.    Any thoughts on this from others?

I have forgotten what the start up was like when I initially started Orgovyx. Please share your experiences. Thanks, John

I have been on Orgovyx for a month and start 28 sessions of IMRT to the pelvic lymph nodes with boost to known met next week. Tolerating Orgovyx very well and so far happy I pushed for it vs Lupron. My treating RO wants to stop ADT after 6mos and go into AS mode.

Newbie to the group...curious for your experiences with Xgeva. I started it right away along with the other meds when my treatment began about 12 months ago. Some Xgeva side effects have me very concerned, such as potential for ONJ, broken femur, and then potential for multiple vertebrae fractures

Wants to move fast with 5 days for 5 weeks radiation with six months of ADT (Orgovyx) due to my high Gleason from RP Biopsy (see profile). Plan & Timing:  9/18/23 – Second Opinion Meeting with expert Dr. Horwitz (Philadelphia).  9/19/23 – Another PSA Test to look for change .

Try relugolix (Orgovyx), daily pill to replace Eligard 8. Erleada or Nubeqa 9. Prostate cancer is found among people who take Vitamin b12, especially for people who are 60+ old, have been taking the drug for 2 - 5 years.

(Over 20 double centuries and the Furnace Creek 508) I’m now taking both Nubeqa and Orgovyx and have mostly been riding an eBike, but today went out on my regular road bike.

I'm very happy it's going in right direction again but was hoping that by now, after past year + on Firmagon, and then Orgovyx and Xtandi it would have broken the undetectable zone... So I went to oncologist today and I asked for a psma pet scan but he said not needed.

Six weeks into Orgovyx with zero side effects. PSA went from 0.42 to undetectable. Radiation and the addition of Nubeqa scheduled for mid-January. (1) Any information on the way Orgovyx and Nubeqa will interact with one another?

Starting on Orgovyx in 7 days...Need to know your experiences and Side Effects (good ,bad, ugly). Any tips on how you dealt with the side effects would be greatly appreciated. Do you start off with 3 tablets the first day then one each day thereafter? Is it better to take morning or nite?

• Went on Firmagon + Erleada, then Lupron + Erleada and finally switched to Orgovyx + Erleada at my request. This worked for almost 15 months and then I became ADT resistant. • Late 2021, pelvic areas were treated with very high dose SBRT based on results of the SABR-COMET trial.

I’ve been on Orgovyx for the last 15 months and three months ago my PSA started to rise and is now at .44. I’ve been hearing rumors about clinical trials for low volume disease but don’t know anything more about it.
