Kindly suggest the most appropriate next steps and questions for MO!
He got
orchidectomy
done in Feb. He got his latest PSMA Pet scan on September 7th. The scan shows some improvement but uptake in three places (attached image with conclusion. The uro-onco has suggested either chemotherapy (docetaxel) or radiation to the three new Mets.

Estrogen for Bone Health in PCa patient.
Preceding Nubeqa I had an
orchidectomy
. I have been on Ibandronic Acid for bone health on a 150g monthly dose. Now I want to use low dose Estrogen based patches instead of Ibandronic Acid. I do the usual weights, exercises, and walking etc as well.

Orchidectomy vs ADT
For anyone who had the bilateral
orchidectomy
, I would like some advice for my husband. When was it done? Before or after BCR occurred? What are the side effects? Do you take any other ADT meds after? How is your QOL and is there anything you'd do differently. He had RP in Dec 2021.

Chemo Failed
Things he tried: Lupron (on for years before failed) Zytiga (worked for 18 months)
Orchidectomy
Then the chemo. He is not a candidate for radiation because of a previous cancer. He is going to get a PET scan and go back to oncologist in 6 weeks.

Looking for anyone who has done Dendritic Cell Therapy in India?
He got bilateral
orchidectomy
done in feb’24. We are considering dendritic cell therapy for him to be done next month. His MO in India said that he has not seen anyone do DC till now and that it might not be helpful. Just trying to find examples specifically from someone has done it in India?

Considering orchiectomy due to chronic constipation from Orgovyx
I've been on Orgovyx for 33 months for metastatic prostate cancer. Constipation is a known issue with Orgovyx and it has affected me to some degree most of the 33 months. Earlier this year it seem to get more chronic and intractable. I'm also currently using a 37.5mg weekly E2 patch, up from 0.025 twice

Hi Everyone My husband (diagnosed November 2013 see bio ) November 2023 prescribed 2nd generation Xtandi as Zoladex injections became castrate resistent, he has no mets. The full dose became intolerable so Onc lowered it to 2 x 80mg, things were going ok psa was dropping good, then started to slow

Pluvicto
My dad had his 1st pluvicto injection beginning of May He had his PSA taken 3 weeks later. It went from 16 to 23. I’m hoping this isn’t an indicator that this will fail too. He has been dealing with prostate cancer for 20+ years -prostate removed - watching till number doubled - maybe 5 years

Extremely tired of chemical castration
I'm interested in chatting with those who have had an orchiectomy, guess thats how you spell it. I'm tired of all the side affects of cancer drugs and all the problems they cause to my body so I'm concidering having an orchiectomy. Yes I know all about what happens when you get this but as far as I'm

Walsh's Folly?
I posted earlier that I had to ask ChatGPt "who came up with the 'gasoline on a fire' characterization regarding the relationship of testosterone and prostate cancer" and that Chat GPT had answered -- Dr. Patrick Walsh -- (father of the radical prostatectomy.) In that post, discussion turned to Walsh's

Gasoline?
A question for anyone who has found an answer... From 2018, when diagnosed, I have been told by doctors, urologists and oncologists that; "Testosterone, in prostate cancer, is like gasoline on a fire!" When I first heard this it seemed dubious since what I "knew" about PCa was that young men with
