Opdivo and Flu vaccine is it safe?
Hello my mum is currently on Opdivo and in Australia is the season for the flu, does anyone know or has anyone had the flu vaccine whilst on Opdivo? If someone has been vaccinated were there any complications? I'm still waiting to hear back from mums oncologist. Love and hugs to all xx

Opdivo
I am new here. My husband was dx with inoperable NSCLC in March 2016. Had 6 weeks of radiation and Taxol and Carboplatin without success. He still has metastasis and now a new area. They want to start Opdivo. The reviews are horrible that I have read. Anyone have experience with this med? I wonder if

My Dear Sweet Husband has Lung Cancer
I am writing for my dear sweet husband who diagnosed 13 months ago with small cell lung cancer that metastasized to his lymph system, liver, and his brain. After chemo, and radiation to his brain and chest, he started Opdivo. Opdivo did a great job reducing his tumors, but then attacked his lungs. He

Scared to ask
I was diagnosed January 15 2016 with stage 4 lung cancer. I have a tumor on my upper left nodule of my lung and it had spread to my neck and chest lymph nodes, my pelvic area and my hip. I was put on carboplatin and alastin. The cancer shrunk and I was put on Alastin for maintenance. The Alastin did

I am just having a really rough time all the way around right now. A little about me, I am a single mom of two. I have supported myself and my kids with no help for as long as I can remember. I was diagnosed with stage 4 nsclc adnocarcenoma on feb 2015. I was told at that time that it was inoperable

CheckMate 040: Opdivo safe, effective in advanced HCC
The only known therapy for patients with advanced HCC was sorafenib, but there's a new treatment named Opdivo. Its effectiveness was proven when a study showed major disease stability in multiple testing areas. Learn more here: http://bit.ly/2frP0um

Bummer news
So my Dad had been on Opdivo for a while, had a scan they felt they saw some pseudoprogression. His scan this week has shown new mets to his bone. My dad also has multiple myeloma but they are treating this new mets as if it is from the lung cancer. He is discontinuing Opdivo and they are starting the

Side effects of Opdivo?
Anyone have nausea/vomiting after and infusion of Opdivo? My father has had several treatments and the last two he seems to be having this reaction much like he did after chemo. Prior to this he had been doing well, appetite was getting better and little no nausea 🙁

Opdivo trial not stopping disease from progressing...
Sooo my Dad had a PET scan after several rounds of Opdivo and it looks as though the disease is progressing with some new disease noted in the report. Going back on chemo is an option, just unfortunate as it really takes a toll on him and he's had such an "active" few months while getting the Opdivo
