Being diagnosed as a six year old with Hashimoto, which had already destroyed my thyroid I was always wondering what other treatment options are out there. Over the last some years I found out a lot about related illness that I have like high cholesterol, teeth problems, on and off iron deficiency etc

Should I be concerned about a PSA of 0.53 after SBRT treatment for one spot.
After 18 months of undetectable PSA (after ADT & 44 IMRT treatments) , my PSA started to rise this summer and was 2.66 at it's highest. My RO send me for a PSMA- Pet scan and he found one spot on T-10. 5 treatment with SBRT in Oct - Nov and now on Dec 6th my PSA was tested to
0.53.

ERFA Source
Hi. I remember from a long time ago, there is one stockist abroad that will sell ERFA without needing a prescription. I would be really grateful if anyone can tell me who it is by PM, thanks. I am desperate to try it as Thyroid S is no longer working for me. My health authority will not prescribe any

Anyone else feel the same?
Each time I have to go through the process of buying NDT I go through a series of emotions.1. Angry that in this day and age I have to buy meds from Thailand 2. That the NHS won't let us have the meds we need 3. The cost if these meds, how will I afford once I've retired 4. The fact the cost is highly

Dual Action Hormone Therapy Targeting Two Parts of Androgen Receptor for mCRPC
Phase I/II trial of masofaniten combined with enzalutamide, a novel hormonal therapy for mCRPC. Masofaniten, a first-in-class N-terminal ligand antagonist for the androgen receptor, shows promise in overcoming resistance to current hormonal therapies. Hopefully a new weapon for us!

Anyone tried cabazitaxel (Jevtana) monotherapy?
If you've tried cabazitaxel
without
ADT, I would appreciate hearing about your side effects and effectiveness. I'm currently in excellent shape at age 72. Previously I tolerated docetaxel (which along with radiation of abdominal lymph nodes helped me return to undetectable PSA for 4+ years

I have questions about Tamoxifen, aka Hormonal Therapy
Hello all, & blessed wishes during the Holiday Season. 🎄 I must admit I haven't been on here for a while, but I hope someone can give me some answers. I was diagnosed with Clear Cell Ovarian Cancer stage 4 in 2021. I have had 6 rounds of Chemo, & a total hysterectomy. I've been doing Avastin since

Creatine?
I have a new personal trainer who I am using to help build and maintain muscle mass. I am not yet on ADT (TBD), but I want to have good habits for strength training if indeed I end up going that way. He mentioned recently that he might recommend creatine to me. I did some brief research and it seems

Reassurance about taking T3 during pregnancy
Hi All I’m just looking for some reassurance if anyone else has continued on T3 during pregnancy. When I tested positive my ft4 was 17.5 (12-22) but my ft3 tanked from 4.4 to 3.1(3.1-6.8) and all my hypo symptoms were terrible. (Previous ft4 was17.1 and ft3 4.4 so I was still probably under medicated

Need your advice, pls, what should I take and how?
Hey all, I've been on a bit of a journey, unwell for the past few years, diagnosed 2012, did awesome on thyroid meds until...I didn't. Since I have now all cofactors optimal (vit D, B12, folate, iron, ferritin - after iron IV, magnesium), I feel my problem either stems from cortisol issues or balance

Considering NDT
Hello everyone, It’s been a while since I have posted! I wish I could say it’s because I have been doing really well on my thyroid journey. I have been very unwell, picking up infections and having allergic reactions to antibiotics that left me with swelling around my eye and now a really ‘nice’ scar

Advice about recent NDT thyroid blood tests and high SHBG
Hi there! Is there any connection between high SHBG and taking NDT thyroid medication? I've been feeling better than ever on my Erfa thyroid medication and I don't feel over medicated at all, but I had high SHBG. My estradiol also seems high. I've read that one reason for high SHBG can be hyperthyroidism

Recurrence after prostatectomy
I have a relative who had surgery 6.5 years ago. Pathology was very favorable, 3+3+tertiary 4 i.e. less than 5%, no pos margins, no ECE, no nodes. He remained undetectable for 6.5 years, but now is .07 verified. What would SOC be for him? Prostate bed or wide radiation, length of ADT, just Lupron or
