Good Morning, I had a further catch up with my specialist yesterday and as i'm still getting a lot of pain symptoms that haven't gotten any better after my second laparoscopy + coil. They have now recommended that the next step would be to go on Zoladex, I'm pretty weary about this drug as I've heard

Months after one zoladex injection, still no period.
I had a lap mid September 2018 followed by one injection of Zoladex the same day. Over 7 months on now and my period is yet to return. Still experiencing daily hot flushes, trouble sleeping, loss of sex drive, mood changes and regular miagranes. I am 33 and my husband and I want to start a family soon

Depo-Provera pain after starting it
Hey, I finally went and got the depo-Provera shot yesterday but today the spot where she injected hurts so bad, it’s painful to walk. Also I have pain and like a heavy dull ache in my pubic bone area along with occasional sharp pains in my ovaries. Is this just a sign my body is getting used to

Laparoscopy on zoladex
Hi ladies, I had a laparoscopy on Tuesday for endometriosis, everything looked fairly normal but I’ve been on zoladex for 5 months and had my last injection only a couple of days before surgery. I’m thinking that the zoladex and Mirena are going to make the endometriosis practically invisible? Is this

Feeling nervous stopped zoladex & HRT 6 weeks ago and pains are coming back ++
I stopped zoladex monthly injections 6 weeks ago. I’d been on them just over a year to see how I would be in the menopause. They took a good 5+ months to make me fairly pain free. I was due a hysterectomy, ovaries & bowel resection in December but with the waiting lists and consultant being off I’ve

Zoladex injections for endo
Hi ladies, a little background about my journey - after years of suffering and several trips to A&E, I was finally diagnosed with endo in December 2018. I was rushed in to hospital after a 6cm chocolate cyst ruptured. It was drained and removed and the endo was lasered away. I was put on Cerazette and

Lumps in groin/labia
Hi, Has anyone had painful lumps that come and go in the Labia Majora? Have read about endometrioma in the area but sounds quite rare. These lumps are about 1.5 cm and are there for a few days then go down. They are high up in the pubic mound more than the labia most of the time and I get groin ache

Pain a week after stopping Zoladex
Hey everyone, Last week I decided to stop taking Zoladex after 4 months of injections due to the side effects were getting too much for me including the hot flushes, incontinence and depression. I managed to see my gynae last Friday and it was a total waste of time again. He didn't know Zoladex causes

Zoladex 3.6mg to 10.8mg anyone ?
Hello ladies, A quick question, has anyone moved from zoladex 3.6mg(monthly) to 10.8mg dosage? My consultant has put me on zoladex for 6 months, I'm about to get my 3rd injection(3.6mg), thinking to move to 10.8mg as it could save me some time and reduce my anxiety as well( those injections are painful

3 Years Post Diagnosis.
Hey Guys, just thought I'd check in with an update as I haven't posted anything in ages. Today marks three years, since my Urologist delivered the news "you have cancer" followed soon after by "stage IV, spread to your bones in about a dozen places". I had just turned 49, so it was the last thing I was

Homeopathic Medicine
Hi! I saw a naturopath 5 weeks ago hoping to get some info on vitamins & nutrition. I was told we would get to that soon but first..... I left with 5 homeopathic tinctures & 7 bottles of teeny tiny pellets. I took them for 3 weeks (1 or 2 x per day & not the 3 as prescribed). I've read that homeopathic

Should I carry on with zoladex?
Everything was going alright until last week 🙄 I’ve been getting some pains I used to get before my surgery last year and I’m feeling so down and crying at everything. I’m feeling tired all the time and the hot flushes are getting too much. I’m sick of having no control over my bladder as well 😫

Treatment options, no diagnosis
Hi all, I’ve seen 2 gynaecologists in 2 years after fighting for a referral. Finally been referred to a pain clinic too. I have all the symptoms of endo, but had a laparoscopy with no findings. My gp still thinks I have endo though. Gynae don’t particularly want to do another laparoscopy which is fine
