My nurse came round today and suggested I start using Trimbow pump twice daily in place of my nebuliser five times dailey. She said that a few of her patients are using it and are coping with their lung conditions a

Hopeless asthmatic
Lately, my
nebulizer
isn’t helping because my biggest issue is the congestion. I can’t sleep, can’t hangout with my friends, truly can’t enjoy life like a 21 year old because my congestion and difficulty breathing is so bad and uncontrollable.

Visiting..and news
Dear BLF friends🦋, Bea and I have had to move out of our nice ground floor flat because of the works starting soon so Aria has been quite unhappy and grumpy😾, the balcony will not do it! I said to Bea we have to programme things differently next time but it’s done now! It has been very hot in Geneva

Too much medicine?
In addition to these meds, I have had to use my
nebulizer
several times plus my rescue inhaler 4-5 times a day, I also upped my symbicort from 80 to 160. I went to the dr today and he said my pft levels were pretty low. He is keeping me on the high dose of symbicort and also added qvar 80.

Dx 4 yrs ago w/asthma, exacerbations last weeks
I have a rescue inhaler and nebulized Albuterol--the
nebulizer
is successful after 2-3 treatments; whereas, the inhaler does nothing, even after 6 or more puffs. Prednisone (tablets and inhaled), oddly, made the exacerbation stable, but did not do much to relieve.

Asthma, When to stand up
I’ve only been diagnosed with asthma since I was 18 I’m now 22 however I’ve always felt a stuffed to catch my breathe at times, I pleaded with the doctors since I was 15 when I was playing football with my team and literally couldn’t run up the field without coughing so much that I was gagging and almost

Any thoughts welcomed
Hi. Just joined to ask a question. We have a portable nebuliser a few years old but in excellent condition which is not needed now. Before I simply dump it, any ideas how I might pass it onto someone who would appreciate it? I ve asked local chemist but no ideas. Any thoughts welcomed. I'm in

But I just have so much running through my mind at the min along with feeling physically broken I thought posting might help. For the last 7 months my asthma has been hard to control, I couldn’t tell you how many exacerbations

Humidity and air purifiers.
Anyone else totally done with this weather? It’s beautiful and all but my goodness does it play havoc with my asthma! Ended up in A&E again yesterday thanks to this stupid humidity! Luckily this time I had paramedics who’d been to me before and know exactly how to treat me. They put me straight into

Nebuliser didn’t work
I recently took my nebuliser to the USA as directed by the consultant and my GP. I took Uk/USA adapters.... both kinds. I found to my horror that it wouldn’t work: at all with the 2 pin one and it only purred quietly with the 3 pin plug. The pharmacy wouldn’t sell me one without a prescription from a
