Inhalers that 'treat Covid-19 patients at home' to be rolled out in nationwide trial.
Brits in the early stages of Covid-19 will be given an inhaler which sprays an experimental drug into their lungs as part of a nationwide trial. Scientists hope the nebuliser will stop people from entering a rapid deterioration phase and enable the immune system to fight off the infection at home.

Severe asthma diagnosis, Teacher
I am still experiencing breathing symptoms -SOB, coughing and nighttime coughing and waking up and often needing my inhaler or
nebulizer
. I’ve been hospitalized twice for an asthma exacerbation- both were viral induced and had bad air quality on top. One was 9 days, the other 5 days.

Finding a better GP
Ive always had reservations about my GP but this last few weeks have been a total joke. Had an asthma flare first treated with 5 day pred, wouldnt give antibiotics despite me always ending up with secondary infection but out of hours prescribed a few days later. Thanks to the infection i needed a longer

Hi This is a long post... So back at the end of March, just as I had started to shield, I had an awful asthma attack, along with an insane temperature, I was shaking violently as I was so cold yet my temperature was at 41 by the time I was rushed to hospital. I spent the weekend in, they thought I

My persistent mystery cough stopped in 3 days by nebulizing food grade hydrogen peroxide (H2O2)
You need to add baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) to help dissolve glutathione powder for the

Left sided chest pain-Not sure what it is.
So my Dad was ventilated for several weeks with Covid. By Gods grace, he’s come round and now rehabilitating on a ward. He’s presently on nasal oxygen. Now his present complaint is pain/discomfort on left side of chest when lying down-more so at night. He reports feeling hypoxic, even though saturation

My consultant is going to arrange for me to have a nebuliser. What does this entail?
I have Bronchiectasis with colonised pseudomonas. He would normally have me in for IV antibiotics and a nebuliser is safer in these coronavirus times.

Alternative to Pentamidine
I am currently on Ibrutinib for my SLL. I am allergic to Septrin so I am having Pentamidine by nebuliser every 4 weeks. I am just wondering if there may be another alternative ?

Who will be asked to stay in
I take medication and have a
Nebulizer
for the salt and water stuff and take 3 antibiotics a week. I am fine with all of that. I don’t need carers and I am well. Do you think I will be on that list? I also have the flu jab. Mary xx

Uniphyllin?
Hello, I was started on uniphyllin 5 weeks ago, 200mg twice per day. I suffered with heart palpitations for the first few days, but have been fine since. I’m in hospital at the moment as I’ve not been well, my heart rate has been averaging around 105 bpm, however this morning my heart skipped a beat

Inhalation Therapy Shows Promise Against Pulmonary Fibrosis in Mice, Rats.
A new study from North Carolina State University shows that lung stem cell secretions – specifically exosomes and secretomes – delivered via
nebulizer
, can help repair lung injuries due to multiple types of pulmonary fibrosis in mice and rats.
